Catapults moving 3 times in 1 turn?

I saw a catapult move 3 times in 1 turn?? Not sure how this happened but I guarantee it did. It was a well known Zulu player and I saw his single catapult 3 turns away and next turn it moved 3 turns into an empty city I had. Didn't cost me the game but it was very interesting to say the least...

You sure it wasn't just a sneaky double move with march?

Are you sure it didn't move at the end of its turn and had march? Or a galley was around and it was another unit that took your city? For a zulu player to have maths we must be talking at least 500bc - 0ad. Why was you city empty? Had you just settled?

R u sure it was the same catapult and not one off a galley? Was there a battle involved? Sometimes if the timing is bad, the unit wins the battle and should have its moved exhausted, but it still has a move left.

Single cat w/ march is unlikely, but possible.

For 1 he didn't have a leader, 2 I had moved an archer up to the right diagonally and saw it 3 turns away, and the city was empty because I just took it from him... I know 100 percent it moved 3 times on my screen, maybe it was different on his I'm not sure. But when I saw it happen I was shocked to say the least, I killed it same turn and then he quit. Regardless I have never seen that... I was going through my head trying to think if Zulu had some catapult bonus that I didn't know about lol.

    Not sure if serious?
never seen nor heard of that one. A road would explain it though.

If it was a Cat-march/bltz it would move 3... was there a GP in the city?

Otherwise, yah, road glitch or some other anomaly usually more often in GOTW AI stuff.

That may have been it, it didn't come from a city but it was on a likely road path I may have just not seen it because it was glitched on my screen...

Not heard of this one either but I am certain that you can't build a road to an enemys city so I don't see how this is possible?

He probably built it before I got there, can't believe there are all of these cheats I have never heard of. Damn, some people put some serious time in learning how to cheat at a video game which is actually hilarious if you think about it...

What kind of cheat is this supposed to be?
    - Build a road to an enemy city?
    - Build a road between your own cities that your opponent cannot see?

Is any of those done intentionally? B/c if not, then it is not a cheat.

    Never seen that happen.

Ask multi and Digital apparently they know about it, I'm just as confused as you and the road was built to his city I had just taken it from him...

You can't build it to a enemy city but you can build it to a city of yours, someone is close to taking it, your army is in a city a mile a way, you don't have units to defend that city in time enough before your opponent attacks, you glitch a road... next turn the opponent takes the city but you can now send a army or whatever to that city even though the opponent took it. You will be coming down that road from wherever you glitched the road in which only you can see but your opponent can't. The only way they'd know something fishy happened as a 5 move archer, 7 move catapult, 13 move knight is if they had the landscaped scouted during which you ran down the road to get to the city in which was captured or about to be. To know more information, PM me.

Road glitch is ages ago old. Surprised the new players even know about it. Not really that powerful in comparison to some other glitches. If you're gonna cheat, might as well hit a homer.

It may not be that great but it is one that can save you in some games that it is needed. It is also a glitch that the opponent 90% of the time not know that you are doing. The stealthy is the dangerous.

Exactly, that's what makes it so powerful, imo. That your opponent might never suspect u used it. A road built anywhere for free! Duke, how is that not an overpowering glitch? There have been many times i could've used a road and i just didn't have gold for it. In fact, roads are ALWAYS useful. Especially if your opponent can't even freakin' see them, lol. Not that i would ever use the glitch unless my opponent has cheated me in some way.

You have to have the money to build the road. The next turn the road dissapears and you get your gold back after a resynch. So basically you get a free road for one turn. You cant really see anything after the glitch either b/c your camera zooms in like 300%. I can't really remember exaclty. I've only tried it out in a player match once a long time ago. I think TyShine might have been the one that told me. I don't even remember how to do the glitch honestly.

Hardly nobody knows... you had somewhat of the aspect of the glitch but that definitely isn't the way to do it. Gold is never used... the map do zoom in 300% though, lol!

Haha, yeah it has been awhile. Maybe there are different ways to do it. I don't make an effort to perfect my glitches

    I hate the word "glitch".
"Glitch", is cheating plain and simple.

Yea itz, it's sooooo freaking sad that people still continue to cheat on a game that is nearly 4 years old.

As long as their is such thing as "Pride" and "Rank"... There will always be someone trying to cheat. Funny because the people who talk of the hating cheating so much they'd found out how to use the cheats and someone was trying to cheat them... They'd use the same cheats they hated to prosper or for retaliation. Best thing of course is to avoid someone who cheated you but in the end you may be avoiding everyone if having anything to do with a rank based system.

the road glitch could be useful I imagine. the fact that you can get units across your emipire in a turn (at no cost) changes the way you do your defense etc. one could build a strategy around that...
but if the other guy is determined to cheat the game is already WAY broken with the other glitches.

I was talking to digital in a game the other day and he keeps going "thats impossible - how did you attack that many times" and things like that... Dont think he was really accusing me of cheating but..

I go - if I was cheating you'd know.. then I thought.. well.. actually.. I know some glitches that are kind of similar in mechanics to those sorts of things.. its not a big leap to say that digital might know its possible to cheat like that... Or not 'know" but happen to be right that it is possible... (to be clear I'm not saying digital cheats!)

Thought i'd post this here instead of starting another thread since it seems to be similar in nature...I did a 'double move' the other day with a CA and AA off a galley onto a hill. I barely got units unloaded in time. But, upon landing the CA slid 2 more tiles! Never seen that before.

button racing - do you hammer the button to win it?

seems to me that is a bit like barb glitching so I dont do it - But i dont know if others do.
(ie I just press the button once whenever i try to do any action - never twice)

I'm very slow on button races though (and my button is really sticky - i think it got coke on it or somthing) - so maybe it doesnt matter.

If I'm racing for a barb and I think this is just with xbox as never had any problems with PS3. I find the toggle will always try and hit north first if trying to go diagonal at a rush. It looks like I'm stepping next to the barb and saying sure take it I don't need it when in reality I've just got pottery and alpha from my other two!! ;-)

Something else I've noticed on xbox is that the circle button or B or whatever it is sticks on the screen. So many times I've pressed it to activate the next unit and it heals because it thinks I've pressed it twice when I haven't. Not too costly but getting settlers 2700 instead of 2800 is still a waste of a turn...

Wow... Thought I was the only that the pressing B and it heal a injured warrior that I never pressed B for but only for the unit before it.
