As for me, I diverted away from the default settings and went for a more obscure layout. Also, when I was taught to box spam I wanted to change it to make it more comfortable but, never changed it back.
Anyways, Here they are:
R2: Fire Weapon
Tri Button: Cycle Weapon
L2: Fire Plasmid
L1: Cycle Plasmid/ Stomp
R3: Melee
R1: Reload
Spherical Shape: Toggle Zoom
L3: Jump
That Square: Crouch
X-it button: Context Action
So, I guess I didn't move too far from the default but, it sure feels like it

I just switched Melee with Weapon Switch and Crouch with Iron Sights.
I dont know by memory at all what they are but i always know whats used for what only while im playing. Not default either, i moved everything around.
Jump is L3 and crouch is triangle. But I forgot the default controls so I wouldn't know if I changed anything else lol.
L1 - switch plasmid
L2 - fire plasmid
L3 - jump
R1 - switch weapon
R2 - melee
R3 - fire weapon
X - action
[] - reload
O - crouch
^ - iron sights

I tried switching reload and jump today...that isn't going to work. I might try to switch jump and melee.
You'll love it the first time you accidently throw out a melee in the middle of firing the NG and have to start the whole sequence over.

Interesting layout... Personally, if I tried that I'd have to take a looong time to adjust to it... mainly your choices for jump and switch plasmid... and reloading... that would throw me off for a bit lol
I won't brag about my controller sensitivity because, at least to me, it feels different between the 2 consoles and therefore not comparable with the number value assigned to the options... Unfortunately, we will never see a true bs2 tournament,,,
I use the bumpers for my jump and weapon cycle so I can still control my right thumbstick without having to take my thumb off of it to hit another button. I know a lot of people use one of the bumpers to melee so they can use the same technique with slugger.
