Exclamation Many games with SM2 have graphics just as good as BioShock

Why must BioShock NOT SUPPORT SM2? SM2 has nearly all the capabilities of SM3! I am very dissapointed that 2k games has basically just forgot a whole 7,000+ people!
    http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_pe...d.cgi?BioShock

This is my sincere plea to 2k games to please make a patch to support Sm2. Yes, there is a patch being made by some people, but I would like something by the ORIGINAL DEVS, that won't have any wierd colors. It's easy to do, just do it.

    SM2!

Your FX5200 will never be able to handle Bioshock.

I wish you idiots would stop creating new threads on your inability to read the system requirements before buying the game.

Yep because writing a complete new set of shaders wouldn't take any time or testing at all...

What you don't realize is that SM3 is not much better than SM2, and plenty of SM2 compatible games that I can run have graphics just as good as BioShock. That is the whole point of the thread.

You don't realize that they seem the same quality to you and your last gen card because you had to turn off all the eye candy. I want you to show me one game that looks as good as bioshock in sm2.

    one.

Why don't you realise that it takes a huge amount of effort to code and test it, and given the incredibly high specifications, its unlikely that people who don't have recent cards probably won't be able to run it as well.

    I'm just thankful this wasn't a console-only game...

Hmmm, I'd say more than just a little, but thats just me....

"You cant always have what YOU want
And apparently you can't either. But why that applies to noone else but you is a mystery of the universe.

But give me my sm2 support NOW"
It would be nice, but don't hold your breath. Refer to your own 2nd statement.

ignore my bad use of the enter key as the 2nd and 3rd statement were meant to be one.

"you can't always have what you want, but i want SM2 so give it to me"

whas more accurate of the statement i was making. No edit feature on the forums

Lets face it SM2 cards are old now, and your still expecting games released this year to support them? Its a fact of life in PC gaming that you need to upgrade perodicaly to play the latest games. 2k took the descision to not do SM2 support, so either get a better card with SM3 support or dont play anymore PC games because its not going to change in future.

Guess what? You most likely will need SM3 for Crysis when that comes out to, as well as Assassins creed and any other new high profile games in development...

It's simple, upgrade or you won't be able to play new games.

It's the unreal engine that does not support sm2. The same people have been barking since R6 Vegas. Get a frikin SM3 card, you'll love it, trust me. Best $79 you'll spend.
