Hey prey have you heard from ade? We need to make this happen if we can. Week 4 is completely finished except for ade v cwis so Im going to go ahead and move it on to week 5.

Week 4
Big things happened this week as DP(7-1) swept the pawkster to seperate himself even farther as the leader of division 2. ItZ DENI3D also did well moving 1 game out of a 3 way tie for 2nd place in the division with REM(4-4) and pawk(4-4). As for division 1 Blades went big sweeping multi and after Duke and REM split that put Blades at the leader of division 1(7-1) with duke(6-2) and multi(5-3) close behind.

Good luck this week fellas in the grudge match....I expect the Arabs to win but we will see. lets get that game in ade and cwis....I dont want to see any forfeits at all this season....!!

I had my 2 games against pawk for the week 5 grudge match.

Gm1 Maw(Arabs) vs Blades(Enlish)
We both claimed to have crappy settler walks but we apparently had different meanings of the phrase as I only named 1 tile and he found 25 gold and settled taking the barb closest to me. A few turns later he crushed me down with a single warrior. GG mawpaw

Gm2 Maw(English) vs Blades(Arabs)
Mawpawk started out fast this game, a slight deception allowed him to take out Berlin at around 3300BCish. Only problem is I too Berlin from him 3 turns after that and his empy cap was just 2 tiles away. GG pawk

Rem and I split. My USA beat his China with my blitz HA taking out both of his HA's.

His USA beat my island start Zulu. I got to him at like 2900 but he already had 2 HA due to great explorer start.

Multi and I split. My arabs stomped his english by getting a boat to him early and then controlling the map. Was in industrial at like 900 bc.

He Arabs beat my English by getting a WA to me in 10 turns and then controlling the map and crushing the AI.

Arabs are so much better than English in H2H. I would be surprised if there were many sweeps this week.

Alright good luck, as mentioned in the rules the first time a player misses a deadline they have until the end of the following week to get the games in before a forfeiture is warranted. If the player ever misses a deadline again they dont get the week window they automatically get the forfeit.

Just lost my two games against Liamsutty.

Game 1: my arabs vs liams english
Settler walked inwards map and meet a barb at a chokepoint, turns and meet a new barb. Move one step back and settle at startingpoint. Hammer out two warriors and decides for a third since I suspect I'm on a big island and plan for a galley. Finally meet the english and rush out horses. Turns out he is beside the chinese, which is nice, if his defence is too good. Also get word from barbs that the french is located across the ocean. Rush out another ha and a galley to pay a visit. Long story short; liams defence is top notch in Liverpool (with sweet dye) so I take out bejing. Attacks Paris several time, but finally looses with wounded vet ha w/blitz on the first attack 6.75vc-3?? Damn ! From then there was downhill. Got a gb I didn't want to use on cor, hgb or stonehenge, so I waited for something better. But Liam the conqueror came at two of my caps with aa and vet ka's..game over. Gg

Game 2: my English vs Liams Arabs
Settler walked (again the wrong way) and planted London 3700 w/dye and no hammers. Passed a barb, so put dye on gold and rush out a warrior. Gets doubled wounded and see that Liam has settled almost on my starting point. Heel one time and rush out a new warrior since his cap is empty. Next turn I take the barb with my new warrior, rush a new one and move my wounded unit one step aside hoping for a namedrop. There was Liam and surely he attacks. Next turn, rince and repeat, form wa, attack Liam and behold; a fundy Saladin horse appears beside his slain brother. I die and London burns. Good games. Almost epic.

This gives me a record score of 0-8. Can't wait to play Cwis

Either we all must convert to atheism or we must stop making those babies! It isn't fair to postpone a civ rev tourney just because some kids happen to reach a certain age !! even though you've been out of town it seems to me you've put in more effort into holding your match than cwis has. i'd say a split is fair over a dual forfeit.

Played one vs. Denied yesteday. My Arabs beat his English.

Denied takes Rome around 3500BC, while I rush a galley for SoC. Take it and 2 turns later galley drop Zimbabwe. I sell everything I got plus use the GE from SoC to get 100g. Rush some horses by Zimbabwe and the Aztecs and then meet his warrior and horse w/ my milita a few tiles south of my cap. Horse works on a 3 flag barb. I decide to sell my GA from SoC to rush a horse in cap. Move in range of barb and his horse. Let him take the barb and kill his vet horse. Denied's two caps are at the south end behind a nice mountain range that he choked off. My horse was faster on the buttons when his archers tries to double-move attack a 2 flag barb and I take that one. He kills my horse next turn, but I got another non-vet HA ready to break through his choke point by London. He builds road to London and brings archer. Next turn I use road to take Rome, he attacks my HA with archer army and loses.

Seems like our connection was so so, since whenever I moved, Denied could not move at all.

We started game 2 twice. First game I was on a crappy 15 tile island and we did a restart. 2nd try I got a nice start, taking Washington and getting my 100g decently fast. Had a nice set of cities out and control of the map, when I disconnected from Xbox live and after rejoining, I turned into the Japanese. Denied found SoC the turn before for a GS, so the game was open again and we decided to replay the game again. Some other day ...

i wasn't speaking to time on the box, just in communications here. forgetting your password is not a great excuse. thats why they have the forgot password option. ade said when he would be available and as far as i could tell you never responded. sorry for stirring you up. its not my call, just my opinion. i've been looking for you for this weeks games. hopefully we can play by friday, or i'll be out of town until tues.

First game my Spain vs his Egyptians. I get walk in on Rome for col but my 100g late he takes tripoli I can't find any whales he gets kt and steals my settler later in the game we are about even tech wise and city wise. It starts lagging really bad so he leaves and comes back and isn't lagging anymore but I am still lagging really bad so I leave and come back and when I come back my Spanish became Romans? So we restart, next game my Spain vs his english I grab a friendly in 4000 and settle in 3900 on whale and 2 trees. Rush my warrior and take a barb just as I notice his settler named a tile on the other side of the barb he settles next turn without gold and I rush another warrior to put in his trees and the other warrior on the opposite side of the cap walk in for the win. Next game my english vs his egypt Stonehenge. I settle on dye 2 trees and get my 100g pretty fast and rush s single horse then a galley to get aw for great wall. My 100g settler was. on dye too. I steal two barbs from him with my horse so it takes him forever to get his 100g I quickly tech col then settle 2 fish wale cities and a double dye city. I beat him by 1 turn to soc for a gold guy and humanitarian. I settle 7 more cities and one with fish dye wale. I beat him by 1 second to 7cog. I by then have 2 bank cities and rush trade fair and libraries in all my other cities it was 12-11 in tech me with the advantage. Right before I switch to science I rush eitc with gold to. Switch to tech and a few turns later im ahead 22-12. I then flip 2 of his cities and he calls it. I had 7 night armies and a cruiser fleet a turn away from gs combustion and rushing leos with gold. Ggs ade to bad I got all the luck.

Its all good I was just hoping to get the game played before I had to make any lame decisions.....so thanks to those guys for knocking it out.....4 successlful weeks where all games have been played....I dont think any other leagues have made it past week 2 with all games played.....good job gus and keep it up!

i am back from vacation, was a little rusty. got 2 games in against prey. I won 2-0

My english beat his arabs
got friendly at 3700 and 3500 and it showed me AW, grabbed AW right away and went looking for barbs. managed to snag one before his ha could take it. eventually found 7 cog. b lined for col and expanded quickly. I gally dropped one of his cities and built 2 settlers out of it and he gave up.

My Arabs beat his english,

this time he got AW but i got the spanish for nav. I went the non aggressive route and expanded. got to engineering quickly and went for his barracks city closest to me with 2 vet la and took it. he flipped madrid from him. picked up AoC, GS steam and started taking over his cities on islands when he gave up.

Got crushed here and it almost made me take 1 month off of civ rev. Could not do much in the 1. game after his good start, but should have tried something in the 2., although Digital got navigation in 3500.

No gameplan what so ever. As easy for Digi as to take candy from a 2 year old.

Grizz, Rome vs India is not really part of history to my knowledge. I am looking at the map of the roman empire and it was freakin massive though but it didn't expand to India. the battle of Carthage took place in Africa but their empire only stretched to the start of Libya which boarders Egypt, but Tripoli is apart of Carthage. Not sure Rome vs Arabs are fair. Greece Vs Egypt is a better match up for the history week in my opinion which was during Alexander the greats rule. The Persian empire was huge but it primarily encompassed the middle east which doesn't really have any civ representation. the Persian empire ended at the Indus River just shy of India. we could fib a little because of how close it is and go Greece vs India. I'll leave it up to you

So his game started off really slow...I had like 160g early....then the turn I was about to get Arab galley drop for fundy the barbs take them out. I send two HA to his cap...he kills one while I fight a popup and I kill the second. I stupidly assume he doesnt have a GA so I heal instead of move and he flips it. I eventually make a second HA that backdoors the german ai cap he had. If he had stopped me he would have had 3cities to my 2 instead of 4-1 me....but I had 5 tecs and he had one so it was probably over anyways....

This will by far be my most hated week to play... Nothing will be any worse than playing Americans... Most hated civ in real life... Perhaps the Muslims... Im not sure but I don't like AMERICA and their LIES!
