Fallout 1 is free for a limited time!

    Get it here:

    http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/fallout

It's a GOG game so it's updated to run on modern systems!

It wouldn't hurt to still get this one: once it is in your account you can re-download it at any time and unlike Steam you don't need an Internet connection ever once you have it! No DRM on GOG games!

If you pick up Fallout 2 from GOG: the Fallout 2 Restoration Project works perfect with it! (I own GOG's Fallout 2 and use the Restoration Project).

    Hmm.

I like this site. A lot. So many great old games that I'd completely forgotten about...

Awesome, no doubt you'll find many more good games there! Sort by "Free," you can find some gems for nothing!

They're always adding new games too - they recently rebranded themselves "GOG" instead of Good Old Games. The point of that is that they now plan on carrying newer games as well.

Yes, there is a free game out of their catalog about once every four to six months on average.

It's done. Fallout 1 is back to $5.99. Hope you got it while it was free!

I was actually so busy looking at their other games that I didn't nab Fallout. They have a lot of cool games, though.

I buy disposable credit cards to use with Steam. Once I've bought a new game off of Steam: if the leftover matches one of GOG's price points, $5.99 or $9.99, I immediately head there and see what the remains of the card can get!

I set my intelligence and charisma to 0 each. The dialogue options are hilarious.
