i cant believe how bad i played... I did stupid things like making peace instead of attacking AI and teleporting my units back to home..arrgghhhh!!!

The second game was just a beating. Mongols vs Rome is tough to begin with, and then i had to move settlers a long way to find anything. You take London and then get 7 cities. I barely had time to get a Horse out when your HA showed up to finish the job. I probably would have submnitted soon even if you didn't come at me.
That just leaves Chug. I haven't seen you in a while, are you still active? I can be on this weekend (especially Sunday) to play if you want to get this wrapped up. Let me know when is good for you.

Well, Point's a confirmed finalist. His Romans with GW and 7c out teched and completely out played me in what was a very slow start for both of us. GG.
I've got 3 games lined up with DP for the cup and then hopefully vcan play my last here with Chug.

It was a while before he found them. I got HBR then pottery from my first 2 barbs. My closest civ was England that I couldn't get with warriors and Point declared on the Aztecs, so it took me forever to get them.
So we got to wait for Glenn and Chug now... Want to see if I even make it to the final match...

Lets put a time limit on this. Sunday night CST, so that as of Monday it goes to the finals. The Champions group is waiting.
So, Chug and Glenn have 2 games & I have 1 game with Chug.
I'd like to get it done too. I can't win, but I want it to be a true champion.
However, i've been on a lot, I including all day Sunday. I sent Chug 2 messages to play and got no response. (He was playing MLB 2012)
Not sure what else I can do.

Don't get your panties in a wad fellas. Glenn only sent me one message and I had to get off in about 15 minutes when he messaged me. I'm online EVERY SINGLE night, so it's not like I'm trying to avoid anyone. I gave my times of when I'm available. I NEVER see Jack on. I think he's in a different time zone and is on during the day. I have to work Mon-Fri until about 7pm EST. Then I'm available until midnight. I barely ever see glenn on either. Not to mention, everyone started ☺☺☺☺☺ing at me right away even when I completed almost all my games in 2 days. Since then I've been waiting on Glenn and Jack. How about this just be my last tourney. I guess I put a bad taste in your mouths in the last tourney. We'll finish this and then I'll just go away.

Ok, lets just chill a bit here. I mentioned getting this done by Sunday not out of necessity, but just general courtesy as the Champions group is waiting. This has only been running for around 3 weeks, and to have just 3 games left to play is far from problematic.
This tournament has historically taken a little longer as we have a worldwide cross section of players. I think that's what makes it a good title to win.
I'm sure there are are a group of 8-10 players that could knock one of these out a week, defeats the purpose of the 'World championships' though.
I think I've been one of the more vocal advocates of forum tournaments over the last while, in both trying to set them up and run them faster (probably annoyingly so), but now feel it's getting ridiculous. Geez, there was even complaints in the 8 man thread that it wasn't going fast enough.
Yeah, I'm aware I'm probably the biggest culprit here in holding it up.
I can play on sunday around 8am till 3pm CST if there is a time in that good for you? - If you can name a time in that slot, I'll make sure i'm ready.

I messaged him and he didn't respond (he was playing some weird game I've never heard of and was NOT in an online match). I'm tired of this bs being called out like I'm holding everyone up when I'm on every single night of the week. I de-friended him because I'm tired of asking him then being ignored. I normally wouldn't care, but when he wants to call me out to everyone on here, he can shove it. If he sees me on, he can ask me for a game. BTW, I played in A LOT of tourney's last year. Never was there such a ridiculous amount of angst over a tourney w/ nothing to gain. They took a while sometimes and no one complained. Ever since Itz has started getting involved, it's like we have to finish them right away so he can get some sort of validity that he is a good player at this game. I'm very lenient, but a year to finish one tourney is ridiculous and everyone seems to like it better getting these done within a reasonable amount of time (about a month) so I don't see the problem. And you de-friended me as well after I beat you in bracket 4 so there is no reason to get mad. Finally, I don't want to get in by default, although you must win all 3 games to beat me and 2 to tie me so it will not be easy. I want to see you play as well but Glen and Jack do get on really late so it can be hard to get a game with them, I suggest you guys make an attempt this weekend and set a time since this will probably be your best and only shot.
I sent him a message and told him to set up a time that would be good for him and we'd knock the games out. I let him know I didn't appreciate him throwing me under the bus when he's ignored me on several occasions.
I mean, let's think about it. Who would be holding the tourney up more? The one who can't make the finals or the one who can?
Let's knock our game out on Sunday then and if Glenn ever gets back to me, we can schedule a time. It's more about principle now. I'm not going to be pushed out of the tourney for no good reason....

Unfortunately, we failed to connect yesterday. I was checking xbox.com to see if you were on, Chug. Eventually, towards the end of my available slot, I just switched the xbox on and sat idle for an hour or so, but not to be.
Maybe you caught up with glenn and our game is irrelevant? but otherwise, I'm fairly busy with work. Maybe we can schedule 6am for me 1 am for you?
@Chug For someone who wants a chance at fighting for the finals you sure don't act like it. I mean from the looks of things, at least what I'm gathering from what they've been saying they have been putting in more effort than you trying to get these games in and they don't even have a chance at winning. This would explain why you don't respond to me and that's why I got a little upset when you called me out. Let's just set a scheduled time some time this week. I'm open Mon-Thurs from 7pm-11pm EST and on weekends most of the time when I'm not at the beach or doing other activities. Let me know when is good for you and I'll try and make this a priority. I'm actually working real late a few nights this week and should be home around midnight, which if I count correct is 7pm for you. Thing is, I'm back out the door around 7ish and the jobs can easily run over, so don't want to book a 'date' as such.
