lost 2 vs chug

his indians vs my greeks. he got a cap 100g and a ha outside my city. I found the aztec ai and not much else. called it whewn my ha lost attacking his ha.

second game was much worse. he walked in on spain as england. i on the other hand found out too late i was on a medium sized island with no other ai and not enough gold to get 100g. there was only one exit to the island (shallow water and just as i exited i met his horse. I then found his city and I attacked (warrior army) and lost not surprisingly.
he now knew where i came from and one galleon sent towards me would have guaranteed a win for him (nowhere to expand no way to escape) I decided not to waste his time.

That last map was just unbelievable winning was just flat out impossible no matter what strategy... first map maybe i could have done somthing but it was uphill

Glenn: I was having trouble too, no worries.

Scottie: that first game I settled my cap on oak, rubber and a whale tile with 25g I from a friendly. I had 2 Ha's. One took Mongol cap and about to get Thebes. I had 220 in gold too. Haha. Ultra lucky game, but not as lucky as the 2nd.

I was hoping they'd be short games because I figured you'd stomp me in the long game lol gg's

played jac-k - we started close (twice - once he gave me a replay but i couldnt ask for another that would be unfair) and mongols are a t a big disadvantage close - i got killed.

Played Jack my Russians vs his French. We met settler walking but I didnt see him in time after i moved. I had 25g from a friendly. I saw where he settled and settled myself. He took Athens and got demo. I researched HBR and sent a Ha towards the zulu. Took them out then took out Spain a few turns later. Ended up with about 20 cities to his 5 or 6 popped EITC and just kept coming at him. Eventually jack quit gg

Game v Chug - He was on the offence with Nav which had me on the back foot, was only going to end one way. GG.

Also lost to Point. My greeks v his Japan. He won with tanks.

2 very quick games against chug

My Japs beat his Germans. I moved and on second turn I saw german outline. Freaking great I'm blocked off by a barb and the germans on a god forsaken peninsula. I named a tile, moved back, and settled with 2 trees next turn. I rush a warrior in 2 and take barb in 3 turns. He somehow gets a galley guessing from barb and puts a militia in my tree. I get caravan from barb and sell it for 30g. He attacks with his WA and gets hurt and I keep rushing warriors. He attacks immediately next turn and gets hurt again! So I move my warrior that took barb back on to the hill. I know if I am to have any chance I will have to win 1.5-1.5. I attack next turn and win! I rush another warrior and fortify both of them. I heal warrior next turn before he attacks 1.5 to my 2 and loses. I take his cap 4.5-3 and win XD I go from assured defeat to victory YAY!!

My Romans beat his Egyptians. Get a friendly and move right next to him and he got coleuses. I take barb since he has to defend his cap and get galley i move out millita and sell it. I blockaded him and there was nothing he could do. My vet warrior army was taking him down slowly but surely so he quit. Seemed very angry when he left... "Ur so effing lucky i hate u!!!!" Thought you weren't going to get mad dude? Regardless GG's

I've had 2 freezes with Scottie and then he has had some with other players as well. Don't know how many you have had. It isn't a big deal anyways just seems this bracket isn't in that big a hurry which is fine by me honestly Need a little break. I skyrocketed past the other 2 brackets and didn't do so good so maybe it will be better if I take my time lol

Then in the next game I get colossus and if you hadn't settled right next to me I don't see how I lose. Oh well.. That's civ. GG's.

Pretty much in a nutshell LOL. 90% of this game is luck, just saying... There was like less than 1% chance I could win that game but somehow won? To be fair though if you would've just healed your army you would've won probably unless I won 2.5-4.5 ouch That really would've hurt lol.

Caught up with ITZ for the two games. Disaster!.

My Russians get a fairly average start. Double injured at my first barb (got a friendly in opening map) and the Japanese finish it for me. Double injured twice at the next, so gold was fairly slow. HA takes Kyoto, ITZ gets Rome. Fatal mistake moving my HA first and ITZ kills it with his own Infiltration army. Burn the little gold I have to have a pop off a hill 3-3 vs his injured army. lose. Scrape together another but with a pike to defend his HA it's useless. GG

Next is India Mirror.

We both walk and I see him name a tile from the hill I'm standing on. I then completley F it up. I had to take a call, and aware I was holding things up I moved, then hit settle on the next turn with nothing much. No gold and 1 tree was never going to get me anywhaer with him so close. WA takes my cap.

My England v Japan.

I walk in on madrid for nav. Kyoto is close. Glenn gets 100g faster than me, but I then get KT and 7 cities of Gold. Whale and Dye all over this map. Game over.

Played rematch with Scottie my France V.S. his Egyptians. It was over from the begining I started on a 32 square island with 2 barbs and barely realize it at 2600 because I was teching HBR so it didn't matter that it took me an extra few turns to realize it. He gets a walk in on rome at like 2800 or something. Wish my first barb would've told me I was on a mother f****** ISLAND! It is awesome because in our first game I had 7 cities and SOC then it freezes, but in this game I start on an island and realize it to late ughh... I EFFING HATE CIV!

Barb conveniently gave him a galley awesome because I had 2 HA out and one was vet. Again my flaw was pushing the B button, at around 3200 Scottie started taking forever to end is turn so I was a little suspicious but not worried I was on a hill at the end of a peninsula. Had I waited I could've doubled back and killed his WA with my HA. Ohh well its good now because I removed the B button from 1 of my old controllers so I won't be pushing it in tourney games from now on...
