Need help on MAFIA 2..

Actually i have install the game perfectly but when the Game starts, splash screen comes, after that the screen with the copyright information and the PhysX advertisment. When the game is about to load, it just kicks you back to the desktop.

What I've tried so far: Install all new drivers... . Install the game from DVD as well as again and again and i also have Steam installed. Did the Resolution solution, didn't work-> then again we don't get any error message, we just get kicked out of the game! Reinstalled PhysX -> From Web and from the DVD. Direct X can't be installed since i have the DX 11. . nothing seems to work!

i had that happen yesterday i installed mafia 2 from steam, when i tried to load the game i got the splash screen and and the nvidia screen, then desktop (i tried a few times and got the same thing) so i rebooted my system (im running vista 32bit) then steam resumed installing the rest of the way and now it runs fine.
