Hello. I love playing Borderlands with my friends, however I keep crashing at a ridiculous rate - perhaps 2-3 crashes per hour. This is waaaay more than anyone else I know, and it's really frustrating.

I have Borderlands Game of the Year addition, bought trough Steam. My os is Windows 7. My computer is pretty consistently cool and fast, so I'm pretty certain it is not an overheating/hardware issue, and my drivers are all up to date.

The two error messages that I have gotten from the crashes are as follow:

I have searched for solutions a lot, and so far I've tried the following as I've seen suggested on various help boards:

-Verifying the Steam Cache Integrity ( a lot.)
-De-fragmenting the game files
-Loading Borderlands through Borderlands.exe rather than the Steam Shortcut
-Turning off Steam Cloud Sync
-Turning off Steam altogether while playing
-Uninstalling and reinstalling Borderlands
-Uninstalling, deleting the Borderlands folder entirely, and Reinstalling from scratch
-Running Borderlands in Windowed Mode
-Turning down the settings (usually my computer is more than capable of running a game like this at max detail and video settings, but I tried turning them down just in case)

Yet I am STILL crashing. A lot.

Please, does anyone have any suggestions? It's not preventing me from playing the game entirely, but it is super frustrating.
