game crashes with error: "...has encountered a problem and needs to be closed"

Hallo everybody,
I have the PC version of Bioshock 2, but unfortunately I'm unable to play the game. After a few second or minutes the game crashes, and I get the error message: "bioshock 2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to be closed…"
Sometimes I am able to play the game for more than just few minutes, but eventually the error message pops up and it crashes.
My specs are: windows XP 32bit
Intel core 2Duo E7550 2.93 GHz
2GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 460 768 MB
Needles to say, I tried to reinstall the game and have the latest display drivers.

I am having the same problem. Maybe it's related to XP because I have that aswell.
I also get a problem where I lose most of my health, the HUD goes all bloody and then I lose movement of the character and his vision.
My specs:
2gb ram
Nvdia 8800gt
Windows Xp
Intel Pentium D 3.4GHz
Aren't these problems getting a bit ridiculous? There seems to be a lot of customers who have payed good money for the games and aren't even able to play it. The fault seems not to be with drivers or what not aswell.

Basically are you gonna fix it or not? If not then can you give our money back and let us stop wasting our time on this forum?

I have the same problem. With me it looks like the game has frozen, then i have to use ctrl,alt delete to start task manager just to see the crash window. So far the only thing i found to help is to quicksave every few minutes. I know its a pain in the a$@, but until a proper patch is released, its the best way around the crash issue. My OS is Windows 7, 1TBHDD, 8GB RAM and my windows experince index score is 4.7 (based on graphics getting the lowest)
