    Game Crashes on Same Turn

My games crash at the same point even after reloading a save. It always happens after I end my turn, and sometimes if I alter my actions the the crash is postponed, but if I repeat the same actions it always crashes at the same spot, no matter what the graphic settings are. I only have had this problem on huge maps or large maps in which I added 26 civilizations, and usually after I've gotten a few cities out.

I have done some research on here, and I suspect that my computer is simply not able to handle the game past a certain complexity - maybe its only have 2GB of ram? I read some posts from a year and a half ago talking about the game crashing after a certain amount of cities, and I was wondering if people had updated information about what kinds of issues cause crashes at the exact same point in the game.

If you can play a smaller game past that number of turns, you may be able to test out your own hypothesis. The game will stop if you run out of platform resources, especially your GPU.

This is unfortunately a well-known bug that affects anyone trying to play long games on large or huge maps. Seems to happen regardless of how much memory you have an what your system specifications are. There's no point troubleshooting it, and 2kgames doesn't care. They already have your money.

Not true at all. A minimum spec system can not play a maximum spec game anymore than a Trabant can compete at the F1 Monaco GP. If you have the appropriate platform confgured properly there is no reason you can't play any game of any size or scope.
