Howdy folks. Obviously I'm new here but I promise to do my best not to come across as a complete moron. I'm a polite, easygoing guy on the net so let's all be civil even if I fail at that.
I recently bought a new computer. Actually, it's literally the first PC I've ever owned. Always been going with economy-grade laptops. Have a friend who's majoring in Computer Science so he helped me build it. I'll give you the specs in a sec.
Question: Do animations always lag in-between turns? I'm aware that there's a hell of a lot being processed while the AI is taking its turns; I've been playing Civ since the second game so I realize just how much is being calculated and all that. I'm just new to the world of gaming rigs and I was sort of half-expecting that to go away. The birds will stutter, the workers will stutter and so forth. It's not a game-breaker, not by a long, long shot. Not at all. I just wanna make sure it's normal.
Anyway, here are the specs:
i7 2600-k
GeForce GTX 560 Ti
16GB DDR3 RAM
120 GB SSD and 1TB HDD
Windows 7 Home Edition
