GOTW Germans 26.02.2012

This week we are the Germans.
Others civs are:
-Arabs (close EES)
-Indians (S)
-Greeks (SW)
-Japanese (very far SW - island)
Artifacts:
-KT (5S 8W from start)
-Atlantis (somewhere - W from start).

Again easy map with walk in, very good production place, lack of Great Persons is bad (almost all wonders are needed for cult.v).
I did 200 AD Tech.V. (Deity), 1st run (after taking 3 capitals), average GP (GS for Ind, GA for 15g, GE for 200g, GB from Japan for EIC, GS for Space Flight). With better GP (GS not GA) 100 AD should be possible.
As for dom: with my opening (for non-dom) 1500 BC should be possible (only Nav from hut is needed).

Where are everyone? Today started "GOTW Germans 01.03.2012" for PS3 players. I hope at Sunday X360 & PS3 players will play together (GOTW Russians).

3500 BC Tripoli + Religion (walk in)
note: rush elite warriors, they will be upgraded to legions (when you buy IW)
2400 BC Delhi (forced walk out)
2400 BC Athens + Democracy
2300 BC CoL from hut (it's worth 3 turns, only because i'm ready to expanding, usually 1 turn)
1200 BC Democracy, Industrial Era, ~40 cities
900 BC GS for Ind., later GB for Internet (without 2nd GP from Japan)
150 AD Cultural V. (with 2nd GS - early - 100 AD is possible)

Finally able to put in a session.... (been out of town working since monday morning, got back last night)
best i could do before looking at spoiler was after walk in, Indians walkout at 1900-2100 for an easy takedown and i couldnt figure out how to take athens...they walked out in one try with a single pikeman (i think) but its into a blocking square so i couldnt get them+settlers and the pike in the city+GL... next i tried w/2 armies but they didnt walkout at all so due to lack of time threw in the towel and looked at the spoiler...

I have to start putting more effort into trying to find CoL not through teching... i usually just go straight to teching and negletcting other possibilities... makes a difference, beakers=hammers or gold, better kick start to expanding.... off we go to Russia.Streak of 3 straight walkins right now.....

Sorry Kadera I always have a quick look on a sunday but predominantly played iton the PS3 because I couldn't get a match up in ranked/player matches. I can get them in abundance on the xbox so rarely spend hours on GOTW. Keep up the good work though!
