Bioshock 2 Multiplayer will not load...PLEASE HELP!!!
I’ve been playing Bioshock 2 online for about a year now with now problem...until last week. Last week as I was booting up in multiplayer the game crashed with a message saying “Bioshock 2 multiplayer has stopped working”.
This has never happened before. Never in my year of playing.
I’ve tried everything. I’ve reinstalled with no luck, I’ve deleted all my old games and nothing. But when I load up a single player game it works and in the single player game I can sign into Windows Live. But as soon as I try to switch to multiplayer it crashes again.
Any ideas? Please help...please!

Do you have the latest update?
-
Yes. And this crash happened suddenly.
-
PC specs? Its seems you are playing on it.

Thanks for the reply Duke, here are some specs...
AMD Phenom II X2 555 processor 3.20 GHz
8 gb RAm
Windows 7
Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 Ti
And now it gets better. Last night I bulldozed everything on my PC related to Bioshock 2 and reinstalled it. The mulitplayer booted up! Then guess what? I went to Windows Live and I was asked in install an update to 1.5, I did. Then the update would not install and I had another crash...AAARRGGHH!!!!!!!!!
I'm currently downloading another copy from GamersGate where I originally bought it. I'm hoping they have the 1.5 version on their sysytem.

Update... Downloading a fresh copy of BS 2 did not work. Once again as I tried to install the update the game crashed.

Usually Tech Ian comes and explains what to do next as I have no idea.

Dukenator, all fixed. I installed the Microsoftfixit app and got it up and running. The problem was something to do with HR:0x80070667. All is good and thanks for your replies.
