Quantum, you need to cool it. There is no actual Nazi propaganda in this thread other than the user's username and interests. He's already changed his profile, and he has not made any indication that he is going to be posting offensive material. If you wish to continue this conversation, please do so via pm with me. Any more posts taking this thread off topic will be considered flamebating and trolling.

I set up a new poll, but accidentally left out Israel so I got called a neo-nazi pig for it. All I wanted to do was set up a thread for a friendly conversations.

You got called a 'Neo-Nazi' because your interests in your profile are 'Nazis' and your Biography is Hitler's birth and death years

Ok, guys, we've had a moderator visit over in the other thread. I'm sure his remarks apply equally here. The name will hopefully be changed. We should probably just drop it.

I REALLY wish you hadn't posted that as I read your profile yesterday and your interests were Nazis and your birth and death dates were Adolph Hitler's. Don't play the innocent. You have since amended your profile and then have the temerity to say someone is confused.

Okay, I had nothing against you but to go so far as to call me a Neo-Nazi, that's too far. I saw with my own eyes, as did many others, your profile with those in it. Good day to you

This has gone way, way off topic. Let's all give the name-calling a rest.

If anyone finds another member's profile (info, avatar, etc) offensive, report it privately. We look at every complaint that comes in. Just don't assume that making a complaint automatically means it will be changed. Bringing those issues into a thread is off-topic, particularly if there is nothing in the thread to warrant the complaints.

    Thank you.

Civs I want to see in the expansion and DLCs:

    Assyria
    Ethiopia
    Majapahit
    Zulu or Zimbabwe
    Inuit
    Kongo
Harappan/Indus Valley (if they can find a leader for them)
Sioux (Probably most unlikely here, but they have a special place in my heart, so I couldn't exclude them)
And heaps of others, but the ones listed are the main ones I'd like to focus on, and would be content if only these were added along with the Mayans, Dutch, Celts, Carthaginians, and Byzantines of the expansion.

We've discussed them quite extensively in the 50+ Civilization Civ5 thread (http://forums.2kgames.com/showthread...ilization-Civ5), and we worked out an appropriate pre-colonial leader, city names, and all their unique stuff. You'll find a lot of people want them in the game, and for good reason too...They have a very unique and cool culture, they conquered a huge area from anyone's standards, and that area is one of the most unlivable places on earth, yet they thrive there. They invented the kayak, toboggans, parkas, igloos, and I think dominoes (at least they played dominoes). And they even bettered the Vikings at one point, so these are all very impressive!

lol at people getting offended over the Internet.

I'm biased as hell but I want more Asian civs like Vietnam or the Manchurians, both of which played enormously important roles in the history of China and had great histories in their own right.

At least we can play as the Manchurians in the Korean scenario. Vietnam would be pretty cool too!

Conquered? From who? I think 'settled' would be a more accurate term. They don't have a unique or cool culture; it's just a nomadic culture, the same as countless other peoples throughout the world. As for famous leaders, units, buildings and abilities? I won't carry on this discussion here (do feel free to PM me if you think I'm trying to be evasive) as it's off-topic, but I think calling the Inuit a unique and substantial civilisation is seriously pushing the envelope.

I'd love Vietnam, but Manchuria's really just another part of China. I mean, it became one of the longest Chinese dynasties! And as Manchuria (compared to Manchuria conquering China) they didn't really do much at all. Their culture would be somewhat similar to the Mongols, Chinese and Koreans', as well.

mandead, you just showed us that you don't know much about the Inuit at all. They were not the first people of the North American Arctic, but they conquered it (as in with violence) the entire area from other tribes, especially the Dorset people. If you studied these people a little more you'd see that their culture is unique even from the other tribes. It would be a very unique culture in Civ 5, because none of the other civs in the game, or what we know are being added thus far, are anything like them! You may not find their culture cool, but many of us do - which is probably why they're so popular - and there are bound to be people who dislike just about any culture you can come up with.
As for famous leaders, units, buildings and abilities...Look at the first page of the 50+ Civilization Civ5 thread that I linked above for a brief summery of what was discussed. At the very least, what we came up with (a lot of credit here goes to Polar bear who did a lot of research - where is Polar bear by the way?) would be an interesting way to play the game, and fills a niche that is not really filled yet.

I would to see polish civ, not african **** which hadn't any effects on world history...
The fact that in civ 5 we couldn't play Poland (more important country than all idiotic tribes, polinezian ****s) is BIG JOKE.

Mans, Poland change history of this world MANY TIMES! 1226 (taking german templars to prussia) 1410 (battle on grunwald) 1683 (save Europe from Islam in battle on vienna) 1920 (save Europe from communism in polish-soviet war). And THIS country is not in the game? That is ridiculous!

The point you want to make is lost by your attitude and racist dismissal of other cultures.

Truthfully, the Manchurians probably have a longer history of independence than the Vietnamese do (part of Vietnam also once belonged to China). It is just modern nationalist thought that clouds people's perception of the matter. They were significantly important as an entity in their own right, and had founded a dynasty in Northern China and the steppe prior to the Qing dynasty (called the Jin dynasty) as well. Their Jin and Qing dynasties became "sinicized," but people always seem to think that this means it was a one-way street where the conquerors completely lost any traces of their culture and wholly adapted Chinese culture. The truth is that both cultures affected each other in various ways through their interaction.

Okay, prior to this I would have liked to have Poland in the game, albeit in a future DLC. But after this comment I there is no way I want to see Poland ingame, nor would I buy the DLC. The fact that you feel compelled to racially degrade an entire continent for the sake of getting your own nation in game absolutely sickens me, as does the fact that you feel the need to claim Islam is something that needs saving from, as if it's some sort of evil. I'm with Hawk, good day to you.

It looks like absurdity reigns supreme and that my prediction of the Huns looks almost certain to come to pass...even if they are there in a different form...

...as for my predictions of Zulu, Ethiopia and Sioux...that remains to be seen.

I doubt they'll add Vietnam or Khmer. I think that they are going to use the Siamese empire to represent all of that area for some unknown reason. I hope that they'll add the Zulu [ooohhh SHAKA nom nom nom] either Poland or Austria-Hungary and possibly Ethiopia because that's just a good idea, because they are very religious. Huns are already confirmed and they'll most likely be alot like the MONGORIANS!!!!! KKKKHHHHAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN!!!!
