Its been weeks since we got anything new about this game. You guys came on soo strong but now have fallen back regarding information about this game. It would be appreciated if you guys could release some new screenshots or more detail about the game? A gameplay video would certainly do it for us fans here waiting or debating on this game.
Welcome to the world of game marketing. That's our lot for now, I'd be amazed to see any more serious info any time soon, not if past experience is anything to go by.
It's obvious this game isn't anywhere near done, and there's plenty of time left till its release. You'll get your gameplay video when they decide to give it. I'd estimate sometime in April or May they'll probably drop a gameplay vid.
I wouldn't be too surprised if we don't see a proper gameplay video before E3.
If they're on track to release the game by the end of the year, they'll definitely have something worth showing at E3. Dunno if they'll do anything earlier though.
My money's on PAX East. It's one of the first big cons and 2K is often there.

I'm just wondering why they are being so quiet. I mean people have legitimate concerns, and while I don't want you to reveal everything about the game, keeping quiet is only turning some people away...
The thing is this game has been 3 years + in the making. A video gameplay of a mission is better than 6 sequences screenshots pasted together to tell us a story of how to play the game.
This is why I think that each developer studio should have their own dedicated "development diary" staff/person. There is so much that can be previewed, tactical, strategical, research, lore, economics, bases... and so on.
Most games can't really keep me on the hook from first trailer to launch, 5-9 months later when they release... i'm kinda: "ohh, so this is released now" (deus ex, skyrim, witcher, bf2).
The game was only announced 6 weeks ago. What do people expect? We've got at least another 7 months to wait, it would be a poor marketing department decision to give out alot of info this early on. I don't reckon vids will be available until July at the earliest.
I would like accurate count of squad size. That would be a start...
I was expecting Firaxis to update their site with information already revealed & screenshots at least - the GameInformer articles are all done now.
We're working on new info - it's not on the super short-term horizon, but it's coming soon. Greg's the community manager on the title, so you'll be seeing a lot more from him once he's out from under content creation madness.
