Question for 2K: Not allowed to use Darkness Armor image?

Hi, just curious if this question can be answered by the guys at 2K

In the original game, one of the amazing details visually, was the ability to see the darkness form in mirrors during game play

Currently in Darkness II, the only time you can see your own reflection as Jackie is back in the mansion, when you cant use your darkness ability, through out the game all over mirrors etc, other then the "Asylum"..are scratched and greyed out so cant be used

Was really hoping to see the Darkness Armor form once i upgraded it, but clearly this wont happen..so just wondering if this was an image usage issue preventing it being done, as it would have been a awesome gaming moment in the game

    thanks

SPOILER ALERT Ive only seen what Jackie looks like with the darkness out and that is SPOILER ALERT when he is in the brothel and you see Jackie through the darkling's eyes. Even if you have the armor you can't see it.

It's a Darkness game, of course they would have full rights to use whatever images they want.

Except they didnt, and in fact...went to great lengths to prevent it by removing all reflective surfaces during combat missions, so I am asking....was the use of the Darkness Armor Image not permitted during the game..you can see it on the hands only, but as I explained, in the original game you could see the Darkness form in mirrors during combat...in Darkness II all reflective objects are deliberately "prevented" from showing the image...yet in the mansion and asylum you can see the reflection of Jackie

I am simply asking the question based on what I experienced in the game, I am not assuming anything at this point, just curious and would like to know

You can see Jackie in his armoured form on the covers of The Darkness comics in his asylum room.

My guess is they probably just didn't create a character model for the armoured form. Hell we only see Jackie in third person with The Darkness manifested for about one second in the brothel level. A legal issue is pretty implausible, I can't imagine Top Cow saying "Sure, use everything from the source material you want for the game...oh except the armour."

That much I worked out for myself....but its a question I wanted to put to 2K to see if they could or would explain it, seeing how they went to lengths to keep some aspects from the original game in the sequel but this aspect they didnt, and for me...would have been an amazing gaming moment to see

Hoping someone from 2K will reply in all honesty
