Help! If possible.
Hello,
My issue: Darkness 2 doesn't fully load. When I intialize the game it loads to this screen and remains there indefinately until I hit a key/click. After a click, the game shows a brief purple spinning
thing in the middle of the screen, before showing the same black screen as initially, however the
mouse shows up and I can move it around the screen. I can hear singing in the background clearly
after the initial click.
Below is actual initial screen: Simply black.

End of Picture
Below is after I have clicked once - Notice the Darkness 2 cursor now floating on Black screen.

End of picture
Thanks for the help!

-Went to Catalyst control center and made sure that Anti-aliasing is set to Let Application decide, didnt change
anything
Note: I haven't been able to get it to start in windowed mode, despite using the advice of some. I tried using -window and -windowed in the launch options and adding it to the shortcut target. :\
Edit: Updated graphics drivers to latest, didnt do anything to help or change the situation.

Hmm, if there's an option to fully disable Anti-Aliasing (rather than "let application decide"), I'd suggest trying that. If that doesn't work, open up a ticket at support.2kgames.com so the team can help you out.

Help please, because this game has a ridiculous amount of crashes, freezes or other issues and the black screen thing is the only one that hasn't been really solved yet.

There is an issue that we are looking into that involves a conflict between the game and ZoneAlarm, which sometimes causes issues similar to the one you described.
If you have ZoneAlarm, or any other Firewall software enabled, try disabling it.
After you turn Zone Alarm off, you may have to open the task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and then click on processes. Then click on "show processes of all users" and find the ISWSVC.exe, and close that as well. Then you have about 10 seconds to start the game, before the ISWSVC.exe starts automatically again.
Once you're in game you should be able to turn Zone Alarm on again if you'd like.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, and appreciate your patience as we look for a more permanent solution.
If you continue to have issues, please feel free to open a ticket. If you do, please supply us with DxDiag and MSinfo reports, which should give us more information on what is going on. Details on submitting these reports can be found at the following.

If You updated to the latest NVidia driver and it still isn't working you can (Nvidia users only) go into NVidia control panel and add The Darkness II.exe and > "use NVidia GPU" to resolve this issue.
You can also go to NVidia control panel and check if The Darkness II.exe has 2 instances. If there are 2 instances, set the both of them to use your specific GPU instead of automatic GPU.
Good luck.

Ummm... can you give me some picture for NVidia GPU ...I dont know where is it..

To find the Nvidia Control Panel, either right click on your desktop, or go to Start==>All Programs==>Nvidia Control Panel.
Also, new Nvidia Drivers were released this week, so I recommend updating.
