Just after registering on this forum to post that im still having problems, says that the game is not available in your country the purchase has been cancelled.

Tried rebooting Steam multiple times over the past few hours dude and it's all the same.

Rebooted, the problem persists.
Rebooting generally only affects things already installed.

Hey Guys! Dont know what magic you just pulled off ...But after maybe 20 restarts, suddenly (as im answering you support mails) the game appear as installable!
So, first and foremost i owe Steam an apology for my conspiracy-evil-marketing-scheme accusations. Second i owe somebody in here a keg....and last but Absolutly not Least... Im Very impressed by your assistance, and mostly persistance in resolving these issues quickly.

I've bought the game at Amazon.co.uk because of the stupid censorship-policy of the german government. I was very happy when my copy arrived at last saturday. After breakfast i went to my pc, tried to install my version ... an nothing happened!!! STEAM says "Not available. The following product is not available at your country. The buying process was canceled." an thats it! There was no region lock information at amazon.co.uk or on the software / dvd-case. What can i do now?

It's not only a problem for Germans, pretty much every European country (besides the UK) seems to have problems with activating it, which likely means that there is something wrong with the activation process.
David said to write him a PM about it. That's what I already did and what you should probably do, too.
Why do you buy it from the UK? You can buy it from Austria, as I did and it worked immediately, it's also in german and it's also uncut. But UK versions are cheaper I think...
They are cheaper, yes. Most import shops that sell Austrian versions do so for quite a steep price.
I also hate German localization.
