Darkness 2 PC issue

When im gonna play the game in fullscreen it appears some black textures making that impossible to see.When im gonna play on window mode it doesnt appear those black textures but appears some tiny squares on the characters and floor making hard to see.
My graphic card is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 256mb.

Help pls.

Why its below when in minimum requirements its Ati Radeon HD 2600 256mb.By the way i can play other games that ask more than this so its not because of that.

User ARustyFirePlace is actually right, your video card is below the minimum required, but i am unsure if that is the cause of your graphical issues, i would advice trying to update your video card drivers to the latest possible ones.

But to explain more about video cards, just because your video card has a higher number, does not automatically make it superior to lower numbered video cards. The first number only tells you the series the card belongs to, its the SECOND NUMBER that is crucial, it tells you the performance of the card, what category it belongs to, but basically

4 and below = None performance cards, most of them integrated even, but basically these cards arent gaming cards, they perform poorly when it comes to gaming. Most of these cards wer never meant for gaming, only simple tasks, not heavy 3D rendering
5 = Will play games, but probably on pretty low settings ( does not apply to latest generation cards however , like the GTX550ti for example, very powerful card even tho its only a 5)
6 = Budget cards, will play games nicely but most of the time, not with all eyecandy turned on/up
7 and 8 = Performance cards, these cards will most likely play most games out at the time maxed out, gamers usualy choose these.
9 = Enthusiast cards, overkill basically, will ofcourse play anything at the time its out.

This thing only applies to a generation and the one behind it tho, llike for Nvidia for example, the geforce8000 series vs geforce7000 series that works. But you cant do geforce8000 series vs the 6000 series for example, because the 6000 are way behind, even if their second number can be higher than some of the ones in 8000 series, theyl still be weaker because they are way behind. So you can only do this analization method with video card generations that arent far apart, ex: GTX400 vs GTX500 series, in that we can take a GTX480 vs a 550ti, which one do you think will be superior, the 480 ofcourse, second number 8 vs second number 5, 8 wins. So yeah its the second number that matters, krrp that in mind.

But yeah you have a 3470 vs the minimum 2600, the 2600 is actually a superior card, it is more powerful, sure it doesnt support newer features that newer generation cards do, but still its more powerful, has more shader processors, texture units, higher texture fill rate , higher memory bandwith , more FLOPS etc etc. But yeah wer talking number 4 vs number 6 here, ofcourse 6 is superior .

So next time you buy a video card look at the second number, its whats important, the first number doesnt mean cr@p.

But for your problem, you should update your video card drivers like i said, will probably fix the issue. If you have any setting forced in CCC, try turning all of them to default and see what happens. Good luck.

ok thx for that info,i didnt knew that.But my brother computer had this problem in other games and i fixed that but i dont remember how.I already have the last update video card driver and in CCC i already put on default and tried other ways and nothing.Only can see well in window mode but with tiny squares appearing sometimes.

I searched for this texture problem that i have and i see that many other ppl had in other demos but then in the retail version didnt have so maybe its a problem that maybe they will fix in the retail.Hope so.
