Vista Ultimate

Anyone here playing Bioshock on Ultimate? Because I heard people saying it wasn't running on it and as the laptop that im getting for university's OS ( it arrives wednesday) is Vista Ultimate .I wanted to know if this is happening to everyone with vista ultimate and if so, if any fixes have been made/thought of so i can be prepared when it arrives?

I'm running Vista ultimate and i do get problems, i don't think however there are any exclusive problems that only occur on Vista ultimate. You stand a chance of getting problems on any version of windows.

Bioshock does run on Vista Ultimate but you may encounter problems, or maybe not.

I have vista ultimate as well and have problems

Vista Ultimate 64-bit. I've had I think 4 or 5 crashes in about 40 or so total hours of play, usually at level loads, but other than that and some occasional sound stuttering (my sound card is ancient, but I've heard it happens with many newer sound cards too), not much else to report.

I'm running Ultimate x64, no problems so far.

Running Vista Ultimate x64, all drivers up to date, had all the common crash problems discussed here.

Solutions where to turn off the tablet pc service, force DX9 and turning down resolution/details in game.

Playing now for 40 hours with "just" one crash.

But none the less it´s sad that I can´t enjoy the full graphics with my system which is more than capable to run everything on High....

Running Vista Ultimate 32-bit the game is completely stable for me under DX10, but it does crash when hacking sometimes if I use DX9.
