AD is a must. Not just for breaking out of EB stuns and putting out fire/bees, but also to jet around and force your enemy to re-aquire their target. Most no-stun loadouts I've seen use AD in combo with either houdini or WB.

The crossbow will require HH for a no-stun loadout, but I've also seen talented no-stunners use EG (ammo cap) with either shotgun or machine gun as a secondary rather than the double-headhunting setup. I would say it depends on your confidence. If you're confident in your aiming abilities, use a double headhunting loadout (damage CB + ammo cap EG), but if you want a bit of a safety net I'd recommend using either the shotgun or machine gun as a secondary.

The only time I use a no-stun is headout is when I want to force myself to develop my aim. It's really the only point to it. I'm hung like a mule, so have nothing to compensate for with my kill count. Just teasing, but really, the reason I choose to use both those weapons is that I HAVE to aim and score the HS or I will die. So it's sort of like the old days when people would throw their kids in the pool to teach them to swim. Sink or swim baby, sink or swim.

I use that loadout but with Fast Feet as opposed to Leg Up. I like to have closing speed with the sawed off while using TK as my plasmid. TK, shot (while closing) then melee to the skull. Dead. If you watch Michael's videos, he's very good with the Shotty/Melee combo.

I feel the same way, but when they aren't your kids people tend to get angry... I learned that the hard way, kid wouldn't stop crying and next thing I know the cops are all over me calling me this and that... I was just trying to teach a life lesson, and in the blink of an eye I'm on some list where I have to meet all my neighbors... Oh well... at least now my neighbors know they have a swim coach close by...

Fast feet and leg-up are a perfect pair... Put the two together with AD and you can be everywhere.

Well, in their defense, it was probably as much the fact that you were in their backyard throwing neighborhood kids in to their pool as much as anything. When you spend the money on a good fence and a nice padlock for the gate, people sort of expect you to extend the courtesy of honoring that. But I understand, when you're already there peering through their back windows anyways, it is just convenient to go ahead and kill two birds with one stone.

Here is my current no stun HS loadout.

    EG (capacity)
Shotgun (sawed off or Auto reload)

    Houdini
    Aero Dash

    Leg Up
    Speedy Hacker or Eve Saver
    Death Trap

Not too shabby, but I think fast feet is essential with a houdini loadout. And definitely eve saver above speedy hacker.
I have the same loadout except I use fast feet and eve saver, and rate of fire shotgun instead. I find it very good even against top stunners. If u sneak up behind or even in front of him/her, you will almost always have time to unload 2 shots before he frags you.

    GL headshot loadout

    Grenade Launcher-Velocity Boost
    Machine Gun-Firing Boost

    Electro Bolt
    Geyser Trap

    Head Hunter
    Metabolic Eve
    Eve Saver

Treat the gl like a crossbow and start taking names. My current project.

  10. I'm having fun with a houdini backstab loadout now.
    Crossbow ROF + Shotgun ROF
    Houdini + AD
Eve saver, fast feet, back stabber.
I really miss leg up though. What do u feel is most important for this kinda loadout, eve saver or leg up?

My favorite loadout, which I call my RECON loadout. Is Eg (ammo capacity) Sg (sawed off barrel) Aero Dash Houdini Leg up eve saver and Fast Feet. I like to start out by testing other players to see how they play and what they use. Like if they spam alot of EB or don't know how to handle AD. Most people don't know the benefits of AD it beats almost everything, the only down side to it is against WB users and TK throwers. Thats when things can really hit the fan for you, when things start to head south for me or when I need a quick get away HOUDINI!!! XD That's my best friend I've beaten alot of stunners with such simple tactics It's amazing how not alot of people use it. I've gotten out of many sticky situations with that plasmid, like when I'm getting double teamed by two people and they don't even know the other one's there. They just freak out cause the have low ammo after shooting at me, and now they have someone else to kill XD Needless to say it's saved me and provided a TON of fun for me.

I would think any time you are using Houdini, eve saver is a must. Unless you just absolutely want to sit on top of vending machines.

If I'm using Houdini I often run it with eve saver, metabolic eve, and fast feet. Mostly because metabolic eve tends to give me enough eve when I need it most. I'm also finding speedy recovery more useful that suspected. I use Metabolic Eve, Speedy Recovery, and Eve Saver in my main GL loadout. This way when I need eve I have it and I recover faster. Makes sense in the right builds.

Yes, i think i agree. And fast feet is a must if i want back stabber. So therefore leg up has to go...

To tell you the truth, I have never had problems running houdini without eve saver... I tried it with eve saver before, but I really can't can't find the difference. It gives me enough time to dissappear and reappear when/where I want to (about 5-6 seconds, which is pretty much enough time for an assault or getaway), so I'm pretty much fine running with no eve saver.

And there are plenty hypos laying around, so if you know where they are located, they should cut your number of visits to a vending machine.

I couldn't have said it better myself, there are plenty of hypo's hidden around any map. I've played them enough to know where each individual one is. In my opinion fast feet is a must in any houdini loadout it gets you to your target quicker, so you waste less eve. It's not meant to conserve your eve but get you to your target faster. As fore the eve saver I think its helpful after you make a kill and your to low on health to handle another fight you never know when the least bit of eve could save you.

I may try it if I ever find time to play. Wouldn't mind trying some other tonics in there, including back stabber, a favorite of mine. Or maybe even that repair the turret thing since I haven't even touched that trial. Lots of possibilities when you open up a tonic slot.

If your going for Repairman use deadly machines with it. It's a nice way to rack up off screen kills. I run Deadly Machines in my GL loadouts.

I think I'll go back to Eve Saver. In those matches we just played, I had Back Stabber loaded in place of it and there was a HUGE difference with Houdini. To be honest, I don't know how Bladia doesn't see the difference. Maybe some people use it differently and don't need as much duration as I like. But the difference was fairly obvious. Like a few seconds difference.

I don't know, maybe I'm just so focused on the match objective, that I don't pay the least bit of attention to the time/duration/eve meter. Eh, but I'll probably equip eve saver and run it in a few private matches when I'm able. There I will be able to fully observe its benefits.

OOOOOO If you do can I get an invite??? I would loooooove to play an all houdini match with a couple of friends I need to work on my headshot's again. I'm not what I used to be, two gays ago I was tbagging and I got killed by a houdini headshot I felt so insulted. I hate it when people use my own trick against me now I know how they feel XD

I think Barbs would be the only one who'd be pretty PO'd at that.

Wait what?!? I couldn't stop laughing when I read this. That has to be the funniest mistake I've read on a forum. Any way here's the new loadout I've been mainly using. It's generic stuff.

    Shotgun-Sawed Off
    Machine Gun-Firing Boost

    Telekinesis
    Winter Blast (stupid rezzers)

    Speedy Hacker
    Leg Up
    Fast Feet

Pretty general set-up. Winter blast and Tk work with both weapons, I toss a lot of barrels and wb helps with faster hacking. Mostly it a basic loadout that has worked better than my extremely poor headshots. Although the only issue I'm having is that I don't know if I like rate of fire or sawed off more with my shotgun. Anyone used auto reload to any effect? Is it worth using? I've never really messed with it. I've also considered using the pistol with damage increase as my secondary anyone got any thoughts on this?

On a side note, I was in a match yesterday and someone had paired insect swarm and the pistol (ammo cap) together. It was a very interesting loadout.

  26. If you are gonna use the overpowered tk+shotgun combo, go for sawnoff.
Otherwise, I think rate of fire is best. 2 bodyshots kill, just like sawnoff without stun, but incredibly fast. I often win over stun-headshooters who run straight into me. Even if they stun first, I often have time to unload 2 shotgun shells before they take the headshot.

That is always my first loadout (if I am not lagging), except I use aero instead of TK.

I have finally found it, my loadout. After spending countless hours messing with different setups, it came to me. I was in a private match with Bladia. We were practicing Houdini and no-stuns for fun. Well that went bad for me (not good at head shots). So next round we used the AK Downfall loadout, I used this variant.

    Crossbow-rate of fire
    Machine gun-firing boost

    Telekinesis
    Houdini

    Eve saver
    Leg up
    Fast feet

Although the only change is the addition of leg up, it worked so well. I was shocked. Normally when Bladia and I do a private match I get royally stomped. This time it was way different. I won. I will be using this from now on. The shotgun loadout will be my secondary loadout and I'll make a bd killer loadout. Ak Downfall if your reading this thank you for the loadout. Bladia thanks for the match it was very fun. A big thank you to everyone who has helped me with my loadouts, I owe you one.

I love the irony of my loadout. I made the AK loadout to be different from the Electro Bolt headshotters and ever since I've come back all Electro Bolters applied Tk to their loadout instead of Geyser Trap or just use a variant of my loadout. haha

Have I ever told you all how much I love the machine gun magazine size upgrade?!
It just gives me chills using it. I will be running more machine gun. I will be running these machine gun loadouts possibly the next time you see me play.

Machine gun, Migraine size. Shotgun, Roh Furz/Damned increased.

This doesn't really have much to do with a specific loadout, I just wanted to know if anyone has noticed this. It was about a month are so ago and I was in CW. These two player were using TK, Crossbow(damage increase)/Elephant Gun(damage increase) and Vanilla Gl. What they would do (sometimes repeatedly) was hit me with tk, fire a bolt/bullet, then follow it up with a grenade. Even had this happen with geyser trap and a DI shot. Anyone else come across this tactic? Cheap or not?

Back in the early days when I was still learning the mechanics of the elephant gun (and in those days there were less headshotters that could pick you off halfway across the map), I ran a loadout that was EG (damage increase) with shotgun (either vanilla or RoF, can't remember), and I would pair those with EB. I'd shock them, EG body shot, then quickly switch weapons and finish them off with a shotgun shot. Keep in mind that I used this loadout for a short time, and this was before the Sinclair Tester DLC came out.. and looong before box spam had been developed. Sigh, my newb days lol.
