    Stop stealing my loadouts Phly.

I claimed © on them after month three, anything with CB(ROF)/SG with AD is mine, and you must pay me in 3 ADAM pods per use.

It's only natural to pair those together, though. That's comparable to claiming natural resources as your own.

That's my problem, finding the right loadout for my play style. I know I love the crossbow with rate of fire. Machine gun with firing boost also. I've play tested a lot of them and like those two weapons. I find that combining anything with Houdini is sweet. Just got to figure out my play style and use what I love.

YEAH! or when they see you go Houdini and Panic, you just go to a wall and wait for them to pass you and BAM! Backstabber!

I also love pairing Aerodash and backstabber, not just for the obvious AD to the back and melee, but hitting an opponent head on with AD stuns them JUST long enough to circle around to their back. It is my new favorite thing to do to head hunters XD

I used to use this loadout just for the fun of it to kill Daddies in seconds without needing that annoying buzz of the Nailgun.

Weapons: Don't matter, they can be whatever you like most, but for me,

    X-bow (rof)
    Pistol (ammo cap)

    Plasmids:

    WB <---Essential
AD (for the EB-tards) or TK(for mines, but I usually just shot them first)

    Tonics:

    Back Stabber <---essential
    Fast Feet (helps a lot)
Big Game hunter (for that little extra boost)

Pretty much just get in behind the daddy, freeze him, and swing away as fast as you can, he will go down in I think 4-6 hits depending on if you have research or not, from full heath.

Yes, but adopting a single universal play-style, sort of, kind of, maybe, limits your potential. Most people I find, who play as often as I, have end-game loadouts. These load-outs potentially stay as is.

I personally have two fixed load-outs, that I use for CTS (Capturing & Efficient Killing), and a flexible load-out which I can switch out upon my current mood/situation.

You could model yourself after certain plasmids/weapons too.

Same, I have my Slugger loadout, on this everything is set except for the secondary weapon wheich I change around based on match type or how I feel (pistol, EG, xbow RoF/dmg)

Then there's my geyser trap/head hunter, I switch the primary every other game between the EG and the Xbow so I stay versatile with each, recently sacrificed the piercing for DMG upgrade to be able to no-stuns, secondary is pretty much fixed as machine gun with fire boost (combine that with geyser or EB and it is quite efficient) but will on occation swap it out for the other head hunting wep (having both EG and Xbow)

And like you, my 3rd I keep messing around with to keep up with everything. Typically I switch it up between: Stealth based, speed based, annoyance based, Noob based (nothing over lvl 8), counter a particular douche player based etc..

What I'm looking at doing is using these load out's for a while. One is perment as it's basically my capture the sister loadout and proved it's worth last night (thanks brutalxbarbie for the invite). Here what I'm running tonight.

L1 My Classic (favorite load out)
    Crossbow-rate of fire
    Machine Gun-Firing boost

    Electro bolt
    Geyser trap

    Eve Saver
    Leg Up
    Fast Feet

With this the idea is just to leave random electro traps everywhere. Speed and agility mostly. If I get tired of the cb I'll use the pistol. Tired of the EB and GT, I'll use IS and Incinerate.

    L2 Houdini Head Hunter (H3)
    Crossbow-Damage Increase
Pistol-Ammo Capacity/Machine Gun-Firing Boost (depends on which is more efficient)

    Houdini
    Telekinesis (versatility)

    Head Hunter
    Eve Saver
    Fast Feet

The idea is to get a head shot from behind, cheap tactic but should work if I get skilled at it.

L3 Capture the Sister/Big Daddy Take Down
    Nailgun-mag increase
    Grenade Launcher-vanilla

    Houdini
    Aero Dash

    Big Game Hunter
    Eve Saver
    Fast Feet

I won't change this because it worked so well for me last night.

I had to switch up L1 and L2. Using a vanilla crossbow in the L1 adding Head Hunter over Leg Up. In L2 I use Rate of Fire for the Crossbow and Expert Researcher over Head Hunter. The Machine Gun seems more effective to as a weapon. I'm also still playing around with the hornet's nest loadout for fun. It's annoying.

Dedicated Loadouts. I will use these until I become skilled at head hunting. Taking my own advice and sticking with a set series of loadout's until I "master" the weapons to the best of my abilities. Wish me luck, I'll need it.

    L1 Stun N Gun
    Crossbow-Pierce
    Machine gun-Firing Boost

    Electro Bolt
    Geyser Trap

Speedy Hacker (I like hacking stuff)
    Head Hunter
    Fast Feet

    L2 No Stun
    Crossbow-Damage Increase
    Shotgun-Rate of Fire

    Telekinesis
    Houdini

    Expert Researcher
    Head Hunter
    Fast Feet

    L3 Sniper (may vary)
    Elephant gun-Sniper Scope
    Grenade Launcher-Rate of Fire

    Telekinesis
    Incinerate

    Speedy Recovery
    Metabolic Eve
    Leg up

Thank's Lance I made the changes to the L2 loadout.

Your L2 "No Stun" needs a bit of work..
The Crossbow with no upgrades or piercing upgrade, does 78.75 damage on a head shot
With head hunter, it does 98.4375, just shy of the 100 you need for a kill.
You need a research bonus for a headshot kill. (Damage would be 113.203125)

So to make this a no stun load out, you will need to use either the DMG upgrade for the xbow (120.3125 damage) , Use expert research to get the needed bonus(113.203125) or Winterblast to get the damage multiplier (103.359375).

No problem, and that you did. xP

Here's my Adam Whor'n loadout I use in CTS. I average 1100-1400 with this loadout.

    Shotgun (Sawed Off/ROF)
    Crossbow (ROF)/Machinegun(FB)

    Aero Dash
    Houdini

    Leg Up
    Expert Researcher
    Speedy Hacker

This loadout excels at keeping all the machines friendly to your team to use, as well as slow down the opposition in key points.

Research Boosted Sawed off shotgun is an asset in killing things in one hit as well as FB Machine gun which cleans up considerably well. ROF crossbow is used in place of machine gun for consistency as well as better coverage in mid and far ranges, but does not particularly get and benefits from research. Houdini is great for stealing machines at capture points as well, giving considerable damage/distraction if pulled of correctly.

I think I've seen you run this recently. I may give it a shot. Last night I was bored while playing my normal loadouts and decided to experiment with Houdini some, I feel in love with that plasmid.

    Spook Show Loadout

    Shotgun-Rate of Fire
    Elephant Gun-Damage Increase

    Houdini
    Telekinesis

    Expert Researcher
    Eve Saver
    Fast Feet

Basically all I do is just spook (houdini) behind someone and hit them with either the shotty or elephant gun. Great for fast kills. Went 15-3 last night with it.

OMG, I learned something I didn't already know about this game today, it was in the "noobish impared" thread by Althea N Hell.
    (See: http://forums.2kgames.com/showthread...Impaired/page3)

Apparently (I have yet to test) Slugger can counter TK! Yeah, like playing baseball or something, TK throws it at you, Slugger knocks it away.... I NEED TO TEST THIS! As a Primary Slugger and TK user, this hold much interest for me!

Nade Spam in a Can loadout.

    N.S.C.
    Grenade Launcher-Homing Grenade
    Machine Gun-Firing Boost

    Electro Bolt
    Telekinesis

    Expert Researcher
    Metabolic Eve
    Fast Feet

Idea's simple, stun them with electo bolt and hit them with a homing grenade. MG with firing boost is for clean up.

    Head Hunter Nailgunner Loadout

I was using this loadout last night.

    Nailgun-Damage Increase
    Grenade Laucher-Rate of Fire

    Incinerate
    Aero Dash

    Expert Researcher
    Head Hunter
    Fast Feet

This was brutal last night. Doesn't take much time to mow someone down.

I think the consensus around here was that speedy recovery was a wasted slot. Has the thought on that one changed amongst the regulars?

those are all interesting load outs, but for a non headshot load out, but how about:

    pistol (ammo capacity)
    shotgun (sawed-off)

    incinerate (fully charged)
    bees

    fast feet
    eve saver
    umm...

I was looking at one of my loadouts and decided to see what would make it more versatile. I feel that using this (for fun) would work.

    Machine Gun-Firing Boost
    Pistol-Automatic Fire

    Insect Swarm (with MG)
    Telekinesis (with both and barrels)

    Metabolic Eve
    Eve Saver
    Fast Feet

ME would restore eve while going for a vending machine, seems to help in a pinch.

That's how most of my loadouts look now. Telekinesis is in every one of my loadouts, I have either expert researcher or metabolic eve as my tonics. Just depends on the loadout. I'm not the most accurate person in the world, so rapid fire weapons work for me.

I'm trying a new loadout. trying to expand my skills in all weapons

    Loudout:

    Pistol- automatic firing
Elephant gun (which I suck at using)- nothing

    Winterblast
    Telekinesis

    Leg up
    Fast feet
    Slugger

Good luck with the loadout Bladia. I've decided to focus my efforts on just using either the machine gun (firing boost), crossbow (rate of fire), and pistol (various add on's). My plasmids and tonics are basically going to either stand alone or assist the weapons of choice. So basically I'm creating 3 purposeful loadouts and may never change them or if need be slightly change them.

  35. #115
    My loadouts are:
    Crossbow (piercing bolt)
    Shotgun (sawn of barrel)
    TK
    Aero dash
    Fast feet
    Leg up
    Death trap

    Elephant Gun (Extended clip)
    Shotgun (sawn of barrel)
    Electro bolt
    Aero dash
    Fast feet
    Leg up
    Death trap

I used to be a good head hunter with the EG, but not doing so well any more. I still get the odd headshots with xbow and EG.

Might have to give those a try myself. Today I've been heavily contemplating becoming a grenade launching madman. Got spammed by a pro nader a lot today. I still need a good grenader build to use. Can't seem to put one together.

Under the advice of someone I switch up to a variant of the AK Downfall loadout.

    Crossbow-rof
    Machine gun-Firing Boost

    Telekinesis
    Houdini

    Eve Saver
    Leg Up
    Fast Feet

Yea, the grenade spam thing was an epic fail. I got a few kills but got killed more. Same with the nail gun. It seemed that every in the match knew what I was using, because ever body was using electro bolt. Shuts down the NG and ends up with a face smash.

I'm beginning to wonder if researching people and hacking is really worth the effort.

Something I'm going to test of CTS when I get the chance.

    Shotgun-Sawed-off barrel (changed it)
    Nail gun-damage increase

    Winter Blast
    Aero Dash

    Head Hunter
    Eve Saver
    Fast Feet

Hacking is worth it if you just want adam maybe. As for researching, I haven't done it since very early levels. Rarely seems worth it, and I don't like wasting a tonic slot on expert researcher. As for nail gun, I don't care for it for the very reason you stated. To easy to shut it down and, once shut down, you are kind of screwed with the spin-up time. Just not a fan. Only have it in one load out, and that's a big daddy one. That one looks like:

    NG w/damage
    MG w/firing boost

    TK (for grabbing the nades)
Houdini (for sneaking in behind the BD)

Big daddy hunter (awesome for taking the BD down)
Backstabber (for the BD melle once the NG is empty)
    Eve saver (crucial for Houdini)

I just started doing this, never had a designated BD loadout before because I hate to waste the slot. But man, I laid waste to just about every BD that was used by the other team earlier today. It is effective.

Something I'm going to test of CTS when I get the chance.

    Shotgun-rate of fire
    Nail gun-damage increase

    Winter Blast
    Aero Dash

    Head Hunter
    Eve Saver
    Fast Feet
Odd loadout for HH. If you go sawed off on the shotty, you'll get a one shot HS kill anyways.

I actually forgot about the sawed off barrel on the shotty. I've used it in a 2HK loadout with crossbow-damage increase and Shotgun-sawed off barrel. I'll have to change that. Speedy Hacker might be worth using in my pistol loadout. Maybe get a few extra kills with it. The reason I ask about the research is that, whenever I take the picture of someone I always get shot. Hacking is different. I rarely get shot while hacking. I still need to spend a lot of time on my head hunting.

As for the nail gun with hh it can be a monster if you also add in expert researcher. Take someone down is seconds if you don't get stunned.
