ok .. emm ... try this guys hope it will work ...
right click on ur bioshock icon then properties then shortcut tab ...
then in target box add after " -dx9
example : "C:\Program Files\2K Games\BioShock\Builds\Release\Bioshock.exe" -dx9

One thing to point out... This is a temporary fix.... Anyone wishing to play DX10 Graphics will be unable to,with this fix.

You do know that this shortcut is part of Bioshocks install on Vista? Just right click on your Bioshock shortcut in the Games folder and it's the 2nd option available to select "Play - DirectX9".

You should be thanking 2K for implimenting it, not cursing them for not telling you about it (because the only reason you wouldn't know about it, is your own lack of observational skills).

Don't start getting friendly with the mods...

The game should work on a top of line pc...

It now crashing on 3rd map load..Totally ☺☺☺☺... EA GAMES = A+ never a problem.
