Multiplayer load not working

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. Or this is mentioned in another post.

Me and my friends started playing a multiplayer match and we decided to save it and come back to it after about 100 turns. When we tryed to reload it, my game crashes and once my game crashes the map loads for my two friends. I am running on a mac and they are both running on a PC. Is this happening because of some sort of different save file between PC and mac. Is there a way to save it to make it work or any other fix to this so i dont have to play 10 hours straight to finish a game in one sitting?
Any help would be great. Thanks.

Im having the exact same problem and we both have Windows 7 and brand new computers, so I guess its not about operating system. Any fixes here?

While you may be crashing, its not the same as a Mac playing with a PC per the OP. Please start a new thread describing your problem in more detail. What game parameters are you set at? How does it crash and how do you recover? Can you play single game with no issue? Do only you crash?

Post your Dxdiag as even a new Win 7 computer may not be able to run this game if the hardware is not up to it.
