I'm assuming that if we've already received an email we don't need to re-apply at the 2K Insider site. Hopefully we'll get some clarification on that.

I just read the 2k Insider website. I'm even more excited for it!
I'll add the post explaining what it is to the first post so that people aren't confused.
I know it's not only forum activity, because I know people who are more active than me and didn't received the mail. Maybe it's both random and forum activities?
I am glad you guys are excited - And yes, I promise this is really from me.
I tried to sign up for the site but it had a message that said: Could not connect: Access denied for user '2ki_dbuser'@'2kgewrwww11.taketwo.online' (using password: YES)
Could this get any more awesome, I'm just annoyed that I live in England as I'll probably be to far away for half the stuff.
It's also nice to see more people on the forums, it's been a bit quiet here recently but it looks like it's perking up a bit.
EDIT: I need to refresh the page more.
Firstly, if you already have the email I doubt you have to sign up
Secondly, I get the feeling that new applicants are closed atm. Given that the page won't accept new names, it's probably locked until this giveaway is done.
A lot of things tend to be restricted by age. I've gotten things in the post from 2K whilst living in England, so I stand pretty firm on them going a bit above and beyond when it comes to members, and yes, it was before I was a moderator. I think we should all be patient and be happy they're even this hands on. With most companies, you're lucky if you hear from them at all.
From what I can tell, they're not accepting any sort of new applicants at the time, but I doubt it'll be long considering the site is up and offering. If they're not taking more members, chances are, the site will be locked and SAY, no more members. Let's all just wait to see what happens. Assumptions only make people go a little loopy.
i knew i had signed up for it somewhere i remember that page that was a long time ago sometime after E3 i think they had it up
Okay, now I'm officially pissed.
I like being part of special things. I'll probably forget about it anyway.
Incinerator, the best way to get invited is probably just to establish yourself as a positive contributor to the forums and see where it goes from there.
DISCLAIMER: I, nor any of the other Mods know the process involved in selecting members for 2K Insider. What I do know, however, is that history has proven if you make a point of participating in discussion on this forum in a way that is positive and valuable you tend to get noticed and that notice is not without its rewards. Just because you didn't get in on the first wave of invitations isn't anything to fret over. I'm sure there will be plenty more opportunities down the road.
This is fun. Still, I feel a little like the proverbial magician's rabbit.
I'm just gonna sit back and watch the fireworks
Also I hate anything that is restricted by age, I've allways found it pointless or anything except for age ratings on games or movies.
I'm dying of anticipation here. please give me something to work with.
This has sparked up my interest with bioshock so I'm probably going to buy the strategy guides and have a crack at survivor.
I don't know about that. There are loads of members that I find positive but get overly worked up and do something out of character and get infractions or banned.
2K Elizabeth has said to us as mods that their choosing is a secret. We have no way to know as mods, like Illusion said. But I CAN say, that what I said above is true. There are some really brilliant members that just lose the plot from time to time.
Yeah, Survivor is just a lot harder than Hard mode. What you described, Opeth, is playing on Hard with Vita-Chambers turned off. I actually did that once... I wonder if I could do it again?
This is getting really OT guys, let's bring it in
