Bow to the first Greek king... Me. Just finished series w/Ray at 3-2. In last game, i got good bit of gold walking. Saw spanish borders with guest greek borders right next to it. I wasn't about to let Ray get Nav early yet again without a fight (seems like every game against him w/ spanish AI he finds them while i get an inferior cap like mongols or japan, lol). So i settle. Rush warrior. Move next to Greek/spanish borders and barb. Ray has a warrior in spanish tree. Blocking me. Try to threaten Spain for Nav but no luck. I rush 2 more warriors after taking barb and form WA. Ray does the same before i attack his single fortified warrior. Next turn Ray attacks Madrid but doesn't take it and his WA get double wounded. So i kill it. Next turn i march unopposed into his empty cap.

Game 5 for Greek king, after walking for a bit I spot Spanish cap settle 2 tiles away rush a warrior but it's just gone 3500 and they now have defence I move into Spanish tree and I can see Angelus' cap, fortify my warrior rush another an block his path to my city and Madrid unfortunately for me it seems he has a barb, probably should of played the next bit a bit wiser, I get a WA and go for Madrid after Angelus tries to kill them, his retreat didn't make me a vet and it was 3-3 against him, I lose to Spanish and get my WA brought down to one strength I hope to half recover at the start if the next turn but I wasn't quick enough Angelus kills my WA and is now right next to my cap, I didn't worry too much cause I had a Hoplite due to be built in the next turn and his WA was down 2 men.... End turn.... Disaster.. turned out someone walked into my tree and my Hoplite didn't produce Angelus walks in game over for me, he wins 3-0..... Bow to your Greek king sir Angelus.

Actually when i attacked that WA it was 3-6. That's why i retreated so fast...And series was finished at 3-2. Not 3-0.

I now challenge u for Aztec. I want that crown back as they are my favorite civ.

Sure. I want to savor my victory a little though before i have to defend again. I prefer that we play for vacant roman title, first. I still have to finish my title defense of usa crown w/ Newsgothic.

I've played ray for mongol title lost 3-2 very disappointed but couldn't do much more really ray manage his mongols really good .....but on the bright side I won Roman title after 3-1 battles so not to bad three crowns already feel free to challenge me for any of the title anyone ?????? I'm not gonna hide them in the box like some do :P

How are there different hall of fame people than kings for example
ray is in hall of fame for aztecs but star is the king

Actually, i've often wondered what is meant by "Hall of Fame" title. Is it people who have previously held title? I thought that is what 'defenders' meant though in competition reference thread.

started defense of my coveted arab title vs maxshmo1(cookingcorner). Im up 1-0. first game we start off with spanish in between us. I ended taking cap but get hbr. next turn he runs up with ha and i kill it with wa and think, well i got this in the bag. build my ha and head off to his 100 gold city. i overrun the warrior in there and am feeling good . before turn ends he attacks with another ha and kills my ha... game on. i build my second ha and wait for his ha to show its head and put a single archer out for bait. he tries double move and when the turn begins he just sits there i figure i should go on the attack but he backs up at just the right time and kills my second ha. dangit!. its cool. i kill this ha with aa and set up some choke points... he tries to break thru but fails and then concedes. we started next game and he was in control but had to leave so we called it a replay... gg max

got in second game versus mario for roman title. I win with the legion wars because had 100 gold first so I got started with production a little earlier. also I walk in on the indians at 3200 and they give me bronze work... guess they got it from hut. my cap had two fish so that was pretty sweet. the major difference in the game was he took tripoli and didnt get fundi. if he had fundi I was toast. lucky me. gg mario. 2-0 me in best of five series.

I'd almost forgot played this game quite late. Started my mongol crown defence against angellus sorry can't really remember what happened I know I went 1 up though. I remember getting a shed load of cities from bottom half of the map cause the AI hadn't left its city. Think I had something silly like 20 cities and I remember flipping one of Angellus' cities at the end of the game which gave me his inf HA.

Yeah, u flipped your cap back with my elite HA in it and i'd just gotten a market there. Even though i'd just got EiC it wasn't going to be enough. Oh, and of course the Chinese AI didn't explore. They never do. They're one of most predictable civs in the game.
