@Brutalmugen: I do play cts like an unlimited cw. It's much easier to rack up a huge kill count if the other team is going for, or protecting the sister.
Most of the time they huddle up and my solution to that is always fire and nades. Speaking of which. Last night I was in medical pavilion. Everyone on the opposing team was on the stairs next to the machine turret. Didn't last long

I do, it all depends on who I'm up against. Some teams need a support person or a capture person. I was on a team of noobs a few days ago and took the role of capture. If you go against a team of level 30+ players who know what to do I'll be support. That or I'll try to get the sister as close as possible.
I've got nothing against people wanting to kill in CTS but at the very least if our team isn't winning, or is only ahead by 1 capture, I expect people to try and get us the lead (or a better lead) before they go off on a killing spree. If half of the people who play CTS for kills would idk...get on CW once in a while, there might actually be more then 2 matches going on at a time... Its so annoying that I can sit in lobby searching for long periods of time before I find a single CW match, but if I switch over to CTS I get a match right away lol. I mean does anyone even regard the kills a player gets in CTS as meaningful kills when the people they are killing aren't really fighting back, they are concentrating on the objective? :/ I know I don't.Originally Posted by xenonmicon

Either way though as long as you care to help the team with the objective when it matters so your team can win, then I don't really have a problem with you going off for kills. Its the players that don't that I really can't stand.
Perhaps I should kind of make clear what I term kill hunting is. The first thing I do is hack everything, trying to keep turret(only) friendly. Then it's after the big daddy and clear out the sister room. I also try to keep the vent clear for my team or to keep the other team from getting the sister to the vent. If no one on my team is with the sister at the vent and it's clear, I drop her in. If I can get the sister closer to the vent I will do so. I play to win but I also play to get a 30+ kill count every full match. All I want is a team that doesn't take the sister to the wrong vent. That makes me frustrated and angry. CTS is a great way to level an alt up.
lol I haven't seen my team take her to the wrong vent before (though they do occasionally take the long way around but that's only when my team is actually doing ANYTHING useful). I can see what you mean you do and that sounds fine. At least you do your killing in a way that helps the team progress rather then being out killing people that really don't matter at the time.
I detest that. I really hate it when it seems like I'm the only one going after the big daddy. When I do team, those that are going out hunting are doing so to prevent anyone from getting the sister. That's when I just camp with geysers and grenades. Sometimes I get good randoms and sometimes I get horrible randoms. Last night was horrible randoms and the other team liked to cluster together. Which for me was a huge perk.

So far I'v been told the following are unfair and "cheap" : incinerate
insect swarm
telekinsis
electrobolt to stun headshot
and the revive tonic
What in bioshock multiplayer isn't considered cheap?! It has to be one of the strangest multiplayer communities I'v ever encountered with so much of this "he/shes unsporting", "thats so cheap!" kind of comments flying around!
As a side note since I'v started playing bioshock multiplayer about a week ago my player review rating has plummeted and I now have a 58% negative review rating with most of the reasons stated being "unsporting and too aggressive".
It's just all a bit wierd.

Welcome Creaturefast. I'm an xboxer also. Bioshock 2 was the first game I played on xbox live, and the only game I played for a long time. Sadly because of that I'm 81% avoided haha. Great way to get welcomed back into Bioshock. Just a few minutes ago, I was dropped into a lobby filled with EB happy, Noobtubing, Boxspamming, Suiciding sons of ☺☺☺☺☺es.

I have never been hit by so many grenades in my life
I have never been shocked at least 6-8 times continously (2 ppl shocking you at the same time)
I have never been killed by so many suiciding nades
I have never been killed by so many proximity mines (placed in respawn points)
Most frustrating match i have ever been in, PERIOD.
And to top that ☺☺☺☺ off, I was rusty as hell

That's probably the group I was playing the other day. EB,EB,EB,EB,EB, HS. They are good at headshots, but it takes them 3 stuns each to do it.

I'd like to play some other modes too. Comcast is finally coming out tomorrow evening to install the new all in one (that I asked about over a year ago and they told me wouldn't work if I have more than 1 phone in the house).
Hopefully I will be able to play tomorrow night with limited lag.

On a side note, I find it easier to no stun headshot than to stun. It seems like EB never really stuns my opponents.
I started this game only playing TW matches as it was my favorite, objective based match without having to deal with a single choke point like CTS... i believe everyone who was in the biosocks should have a pair of those with the splicer they use the most on them. it would be cute. and I guess everyones nick names. now i'm sad, i think i'll go sit in the biosocks chat. and remember. hehe.
i will say though the match i had with r3d, pookins, and muffin the other night were soooo much fine. especially when we tricked r3d hehe. but i love the endless slugging.

I think bioshock 2 is $6 or less at kmart on clearance right now babs...probably the cheapest place to get it.
Just tried out my new all in one access point AND still lagging. My connectivity is constantly fluctuating. looks like I am going to have to run an Ethernet cable.

A pseudo BS2 rant.. Do NOT buy the new Sony Wireless Headset. As I just learned, if the adapter gets busted, you are dead in the water. You can't replace it. You can't repair it. I busted the $5 dongle when my PS3 tipped, and now I am out $100 with absolutely nothing I can do. The adapter is proprietary and only works with that one headset. So both Sony and PlayStation said so sorry, you are screwed. Feel free to buy another. Yea, Sony and PS, feel free to go ☺☺☺☺ yourselves. Nice product support, dicks.

In a P2P network, your connection is only as strong as the weakest link. So you will notice lag when someone else has a bad connection, even if you have the fastest your ISP has to offer.
Decided I would get on and I had some pretty fun matches. More people getting mad when BrutalMishi kills them lol I don't get it, I'll kill them just as many times and they only rage at her. Maybe they just can't stand being beaten by a female haha. The best part of the night was when some headshotting 42 scrub quit when my team was beating him, I message him calling him out on being a quitter so he challenges me to a 1v1. Big mistake. Within the first two minutes I already had enough of a lead over him that he ragequit the match and blocked me. Hahahaha that's gotta be the best thing that's happened for me on bio in a while. Just too funny
Unless he was hosting, why would you care that he quit? People leave matches all the time. If someone leaves right at the end, I don't see why you'd even care, yet alone take the time to "call someone out." Sounds kind of dooshy on your part.
I have their real id, but it doesn't do much good. They sent me mail telling me "you suck" when I was lagging hard in those TAG/TW matches.
I was doing it for fun because I was lagging too much to headshot. I did quit because I know I am better than anyone in that lobby and none of my shots were landing. I only use GL for big daddy takedowns or if my EG hits aren't registering. My AD loadout doesn't work either when I lag (shotgun takes double time to cycle and AD doesnt register as a hit). The same thing was happening all night. That was the last match I played since the lag was too much to bear.
Yeah, I know it is me though. I just got the new equipment installed last night. Supposedly it is putting out 30 mbps wireless (according to a speedtest on the laptop which used to come up at 15 mbps), but I am only getting 6 mbps on my PS3 and it is literally 15 feet from the thing. The signal is fluctuating from 62%-95% connectivity. My old "G" router was getting 97-100% (it just was only pulling lower speeds). The comcast tech left me his number and told me he will make me a Cat5 50 ft Ethernet cable, so I can run it through the attic to my room.
That is when I will be ready for all the 1v1 challenges.

A little factoid about slowdive, I own over 1,000 video games, but I only play 3 of them.
Can't say much, I enjoyed the TAG and TW matches last night until I kept getting bee spammed. I really hate bee's. Went and played sotf and had a decent level of fun. Today was the best time I've had in a while. Spent about two hours this morning doing cb/eg head shots which equaled FAIL. Then I went back to the old shotgun. Started winning matches with it (I was my alt). Finally got rof for the crossbow. All in all I seem to be much better with the shotgun over eg/cb. I've realized that I am a very skilled player (not better than a lot of people). It all seems to be about focus and just letting any and all tension go. When I do that I whoop up on people. Anyway, I maybe on later today or not. That just depend on if I really care about playing again. I still got to beat Singularity and Wolfenstein.
