are you for real? classy player? granted, I've never received any hatemail from him, but every time I've played against him it's been little more than spam and uber-power loadouts... Had plenty frustrating matches yesterday. My headshots were way off, and I got stuck with all noobs for about 80 percent of my matches yesterday. One match in particular, was just me and some level 8 versus 5 level 50s... one of these 50s being a hacked account (the end letters were blinking) They still played like the standard douches, despite us having such a handicap.
And I couldn't find a single SOTF ;_;

Boosting the match length for kills isn't classy, but I don't deny that he's polite and a generally nice person.

I had the worst day of play in my life. At first it was nothing but fun when bladia and I were in a sotf lobby with noobs. We used machine guns and pistols those matches. Then after that (alone) I entered some of the worst matches in my life nothing but boxspam and targeting. I mean why swing your wrench at my corpse or continue to fire bullets into it, even the big daddy stomped on me. This went on for several matches. I had several terrible score with an amazingly high amount of assist. Even though I used the nade launcher minimally. I did a few and I do mean few no-stuns but if tomorrow isn't better I might just shelf the game permanently. I know a lot of people would love to see me go.

This stuff reminds me why I play sotf more and more. The team modes always make me depressed. If I'm with another individual or a team sure I'll play them but I think it's best if I stay in sotf.
I'm going to run a stun, no-stun, and anti-bd loadout from now on. I believe it's time I go to the next level in my play style, no-stun.

We all go through these stretches Xen, when one day we think we're getting better and "getting it," then have an absolutely abysmal day and want to put the game up forever. As I've told you in the past, those are the times I would take a long break, a week, two weeks, a few months. I've walked away several times, and the game always felt a little fresher when I came back. You may want to try it. Or, just get back on the horse and have a good day! That may be enough for you.
Xen, don't let these T-baggers put you down. It happens to me so much, it hardly affects me anymore. I swear I get T-bagged at least once in every single match I play in.... I even got gang bagged by a stacked team onceIt's nothing to stress over. Just laugh it off and move on. I think your a great person to play with/against, so don't forget that. Screw what the haters think.
And those SOTF matches truly were a lot of fun. We should try that again sometimes
Not much of a vent, but for ☺☺☺☺s and giggles, I went SLUGGER in my final match yesterday... and despite the nadespam and Boxspam, I survived the fiasco.
My highlight of that match: Dropping from the third floor (*HFTP) and slugging a nade spammer who was jumping in midair

Wish I could have seen that win. I had to leave though, I know when certain people show up in matches they tend to last no longer than 3 minute (very boring to me). I will say that as of a few minutes ago I had the best CTS matches in my life, I racked up a total of 65 kills (two matches). With my trusty grenade lawnchair. Between my deadly turrets and nade spam it was a "blast".

I stopped watching about 5 minutes in. 16:00 is just way to long for me to stay interested even though I do tend to enjoy his videos. And as I have said in other threads, I think CTS is almost always to much nade spam. It's why I don't care for the mode.

You'll probably want to set your sound to come through the TV speakers. I had a small bluetooth like that and could never understand what anyone was saying. So I switched it in the settings menu. Now that I have the full ear cup headset, I love the sound through those things. I had some of the best matches this morning, didn't win a single one but it was major fun. I ventured into CW twice and it was meh, same old same old. It was sotf where the fun was at. I was in several matches with two of my friends who are excellent head shots.I was doing the tk shotgun thing, I kept up with them for the most part.
Last night was a major psychotic mess, it's amazing how insane I could play with only 3 hrs of sleep. I went berserk at one point an was all kamikaze, running into groups with guns and nades blazing. Didn't do all that bad nor all that good. Made me feel better though. Got to the point of such exhaustion in sotf (final match) I was running into walls and being killed by noobs.
Played some today after the layoff. It was the exact opposite of this. Thanks to Xenon for inviting me to my final match. Played for about an hour and once again, didn't enjoy it in the least. Wasn't one fun thing about it. My son started playing some of the DLC content this weekend and decided to play the campaign from the evil side. Since it is his game, and since I thought playing today was just about the least fun thing I've done on the PS3 in months, the game is going back home with him. He wants to finish up and them trade it in towards his pre-order for Borderlands 2, which we are both looking forward too! So thanks to those I've played with. Was a good run for quite a long while and more than got my money's worth. But this game has definitely jumped the shark for me.
I deleted most of the friends that were solely for BS2. If I still have you friended and you want me to drop you to clear space, just let me know. I won't take it personal at all.

My rant is kind of strange. I was in a team last night. We were trying to work as a unit but that didn't pan out to well. As I'm getting used to the AK variant loadout. I did so-so which was fine. My problem was that we got into two of the new maps. I was like "this is awesome, I never get to play public matches on these." So it was all well and good until a team of nade spamming failshots showed up. Here's what got me. They came in did some killing and if they got killed over 3 times left. Only to return and do it all over again. The nade spam from this group was insane. I got t-bagged, corpse beat, and poop scooted in those matches. One individual was a rez suiciding d-bag, who was the main nade/rez leave/return individual. So sad. Make me think about how all those I nade spammed felt
This wasn't the strange part. Over the past few months, I've been playing matches when a random will drop in, kill me, t-bag, and then leave. This has happened over a dozen or so times. Why do this, it makes no sense. I also wonder why me? Do I tick people off that bad, or should I take this as a sign of progress? That my skills have improved to the point were people utterly hate me or has my epic nade spam labeled me a douche bag?

Xen, if I've learned anything there will always be someone who hates you. Half the time you don't even have to do anything but win and someone will hate you. I've noticed mass amounts of "spamming" of all kinds and suiciding in general the past few days, and those are about the only things that get under my skin when I'm trying to play a legitimate match. Rage quitting, as long as it isn't the host just makes me laugh anymore, and I know specific people who seem to have a habit of it. I wouldn't call you a douche myself, not when there are plenty of other prime examples of such who literally go out of their way to be one. I'm not perfect myself though, I lost my cool on someone who repeatedly naded me to death every time they seen me yesterday, it seemed like the only thing they could accomplish getting kills, there was no attempt to kill me with any other weapon, just nade after nade after reload of freaking nade. I guess I hate naders in general, but you've always been a decent enough person and to me that counts for more.
Well, for the most part I'm out of the nade business. I'll keep 1 dedicated loadout and use it if need be or I'll go with the barbie favorite of cb-rof and bee's. I'll be on tonight at some point. So keep an eye out for me. I don't really hate anyone in this game, mostly their attitude and play style make me dislike them. I honestly don't care anymore, it's just a game and I intend to have fun. Try to improve my skills and be one less prick in this game.
Yeah. Also, I stalk your PS3 lobbies, but seriously you're not going to quit. I can tell when someone is hooked.
