Wait till you respawn with vanilla weapons that are not even in your loadouts. I got stuck in the floor again today. I don't mind this happening when there's maybe a minute left in the match. It's when it happen when there is around 10 minutes left. That's what ticks me off. The neutral vending machines also tick me off, that's why I freeze them no matter who's hacked them. Ok, this machine is find to use. Then boom I'm dead. Your not alone on the no barrel thing.
Oh yea, forgot that part today. In the first laggy match, the one where I froze, I was chasing a guy that was missing his body below the knees. He wasn't stuck. But he was running with his legs below the floor. That made him a bit tough to hit!Originally Posted by xenonmicon

Laggy all night, but I did win 3 SOTF matches. I don't think I ever won one until tonight. No rez either.
I keep getting DC from PSN where it dumps me to the title screen. I even quit the game, reset my router and it still dumped me to the title screen saying dc from PlayStation network (on bio 2), but my chat and messages still work.
Ah, yes, the vending machine glitch. I was playing CW yesterday (which I normally avoid, but it was the only mode open) and was on the much stronger team. The opposing team's members kept leaving, and were replaced with new ones. Since I suck at CW, I left the hunting to my teammates and focused on hacking. 3/4s of my kills came from new entrants being fooled by my seemingly-neutral hacked vending machines.
I rebirthed my alt account today. I was absolutely amazed at how many level 50 rebirths stalk the newb lobbies. Lobbies with everyone under level 10 would have one or two join and just go on headshot rampages. I called one out and he tried to play the "that's all I could find" card. I told him that was BS because I had been in several lobbies with lots of high level players even as a low level rebirth. If you are going to lower yourself to stalking newbs, at least sack up and own up to it.
That's ALWAYS their excuse.

It is funny to see one of them get into sotf and get owned a lot. It's hard to play a all or nothing mode without back up.
It was nice last night to play sotf with a few of my friends. I'm glad one of them is beginning to like that mode of play. I put to much performance stress on myself and ended up being a douche in chat because of it. Sorry man.
I'm loving cb head shots and I hardly touch the gl anymore (unless it's called for). Got a lot of my kills through cb-rof, the pistol, turrets, and geyser bolts. I may play some tonight if I feel like it.
Well my Xbox live is going to run out soon, as in less than a week, so...PS3 will be seeing me more often. Or not. Depends if I have time to play.

That guy's in and out more than my Chihuahua. I used to think he just had the world's worst connection, but I just came from a match hosted by him and it was AWESOME. We weren't on the same team and my team lost of course, but I was getting kills I normally would have never made.
One of his teammates (a level 50 rebirther) had a hacked account and was using the same name. Both were playing as Blanche so I couldn't tell them apart.
I think I made someone on their team rage-quit, which is a new one for me. I've played with her before and she is quite good, but the connection was so excellent I got the best of her all but once. She left even though her team was winning.
I killed Waterjaja on my alt at level 4 in a CTS match. She left shortly thereafter as the game was all single digit level players. That's twice I've seen her do that. I respect that.

A certain individual who's in the top half of the leaderboards on 360. It's not so much a vent, but I just don't understand why he even plays. He joins and then suddenly leaves after one or two deaths. It leaves me questioning how he got so far the amount of times he's quit in a lobby I'm in.
Also. I'm getting into the groove of not using resurrection to see how I do. I don't do too bad, but when I come against people WITH it, I never knew how annoying it could be when I used it. It get's tedious sometimes!

My stance with rez has always been that it hurts you more than it helps you.

The problem with rez is that once someone figures it out, they know to double tap you.
My rant is I hate my net connection. It was on again off again all night. Finally figured it out though. The phone company said that calls shouldn't interrupt my internet, they were wrong. So I hit the call button and no one has been able to call us today (don't use the phone anyway). Net has not gone down yet, I hope to actually be able to stay in a match tonight. I felt like a rage quitter because of it. Sorry to anyone whom I was in a match with last night because of this.
Played today. Started out ok, but lag and host quits became the norm pretty quickly. Is it just me, or does the lag in these games seem to be getting worse and worse lately? And then, when the lag wasn't horrendous, the host would leave before the game was half over anyways.
Got invited to my own massacre today.
Stacked team invited me and some noobs into a CW and started owning us. Some left and even when we were outnumbered (2 to 5) They went all out. (EB,HS GL Bees NG you name it). I tried sticking with a non HS for the whole match even when they were going like this.In the end, most points my team got in total was 40 points to 500 points, 20 from me and 20 from some other player on my team.
If you don't mind me asking, why would you continue to play a game like that and help the dooshbag stackers pad their stats? No way I'd sit there and help the losers get what they wanted. I wouldn't even care if it was a stacked team from here.
Laggy matches tonight. During the day it was great and I had record kills/wins in SOTF. Determined it was other peoples conections not mine tonight.
Trust me I left, after the first game. They were playing a series of them. I would have left in the first , but what about the poor noob who would be left against them by himself ? I normally would leave, but I felt obligated to stay in despite getting my ass handed to me just because I felt maybe I could give him some help. Sent messages to help him too.
I normally would have left if the teams were closer in skill and numbers, But this match was an exception. Even with the douchery in it.

Send the name to me Bladia, it seems that I'm starting a collection of people to avoid. Also I don't blame you for hanging with the noobs. To me that show your willing to support and encourage new player which is a plus in my book. I've been trying to avoid CW and CTS if I can. Been playing mostly SOTF with Slowdive to break up the monotony. It's also a kind of warm up.
A little note about my GL addiction, I now only bring out that weapon if a match turns into a nade war. I will run any annoying combo I can think of to make the nade users think twice.
Something else I've notice is that I'm decent at head shots in SOTF but in CW and CTS not so much. Strange.
Like when you invited a level 12 in to a SotF match with 3 level 50s and he nailed you a few times with TK and the MG (or was it shotty)? Pretty sure he didn't use a GL on you, but you did on him after a few deaths.
That is so sweet! I've played with you and have admired the way you will stay. Most players your level are too concerned about their K/D.

I'll pretty much stay n any match, unless a friend invites me or we DC/They DC from. Which happens a lot, due to my lolbad net.

Well you have to realize TxBuckeye that the match went downhill fast. I was still using that loadout when I came across that level 12.
I think I got that level 12 a few good times with the crossbow rate of fire, if I remember correctly.

PS3 HAS BEEN HACKED! Today, PSN would only allow BS 2 teams to travel in packs, never moving more than two or three steps from their teammates. Also, it would only allow use of one weapon for everyone, the GL. Packs of 5 traveling together, spamming hundreds of nades everywhere!
Ugh. Seriously, may have been the least enjoyable session I have ever played. I gave up and left after several games as I just couldn't stand it. As if it wasn't bad enough getting spammed by a pack of 5 opponents, I was also getting hit in the back of the head by nades fired by my own teammates. My gawd, it was absolutely awful.
Wow, once again, early on the weekend was utterly more enjoyable. Played a bunch of matches and logged off a ton of trials. Between those and hacking and researching like I biznitch, I must have averaged over 800 points a match. Tore through just about a level per game. The only nade spam I ran in to was from the level 50 rebirths I came across in a CTS match. So I left that group after the game was over.
Can't say I enjoyed myself much this morning. The first match of CTS was a blast. I didn't get the highest k/d on my team but it was actually fun. Very little nade spam (including myself). However I got into a CTS match with a bunch of rebirth 50's and it was nothing but head shots and nade spam. I ended up leaving as by the second round I had 0 kills, over a dozen deaths and had been T-bagged. Saw no point of even playing. Did some sotf and it went decent. I honestly regret being a rebirth. Got my first hate mail yesterday. Some one called me a level 50 "Kitty" if you catch my drift. Honestly thinking about giving up the nade launcher and my quest for a higher kill to death ratio and actually try to enjoy this game again. Do what one of my friends told me "run what you love" (thanks you know who you are). Had a fun match with siren yesterday as well. It was crazy.
I'm actually following your advice, which was pick something you want to accomplish that match and do it. Since I rebirthed, I'm using trials to set those in match goals. Some can be darn hard as you level, where something like WB with a MG can be a tough weapon to use effectively in a match with a bunch of 50s. Some get me killed, like trying to get my 30 GT in. But then I'll find a map where electrified traps work very well. So I learn something and accomplish something at the same time. I just got bees and NG, though I only have burst fire. So I'll probably try that combo next to log both trials. Now I find that playing my other accounts, where adam doesn't matter, is sort of boring, since there is no goal to accomplish.
All in all, you might just be burned out too. Some times you just have to take a break. I've taken several, the longest being three months. You come back pretty refreshed.

I was wonder about that Bladia, normally your very hard to take down and I was (at least seemed like it) constantly picking you off with the shotgun. Normally I'd be dead as soon as I see you. I will agree it was several good games.
My vent today is ME. Yep it's about myself and my almost complete lack of consistency with weapons. An the fact I'm always trying to find a "magic" loadout to make me a very good player. I feel hard today and was using the nade launcher like crazy. If this keeps going I'll be one of those douche bag who use the nade launcher with rez and death trap. It was hard to not do that. Then again I could always go that routine and lose all my online friends. That and get even more hate mail.

Yea, I did hold myself against wateraja rather well (decent i think). I mean that whole match looked like a scene out of the matrix. I was a flying homing nade firing psycho. Pure panic mode and funz. That match didn't matter to me, I guess that's why I did well. I wasn't focused on winning. I think I had what 4th or 5th place and there were a lot of highly skilled people in that match. Thanks for the encouragement V.
