ok i know what my rules are for a 1v1 but i guess they arent the same.....lol ...........but inviting me to a 1v1 to boxspam me, get in the suit, suicide and then leave while im winning is not very nice..........js
Ah i hated 1v1s. Was never good at them because I had no idea where the person was at.
I've only played 1 1v1, I just prefer playing with more people as it opens up the map.
i actually like 1v1s, i think they are exciting.
But then again its easier for me since i have a lot of experience doing them
Well, my final vent as it is a useless exercise. I always thought that the folks at the top would be cool to play with after reading threads here. Got the chance today. Had a horrible day playing, even by my standards. But got in a game with a top 10 player (I will PM anyone the name that asks) when he joined late and thought cool, good player. He'll kick my butt but I might learn something here! Yep, I did. I learned that, even though I couldn't hit squat today, I was able to kill him with relative ease. I also learned that he is a suiciding doosh, which he did each and every time I was able to kill him. Not only did he suicide all three times I popped him (in a span of about two minutes), he still finished the game with a score of 8-9! Makes me wonder how valid any of the scores on the leaderboard are. If he's a top ten player skill wise, then I must be super elite awesome.

I'd like to add, anyone who needs 4 Bolts + picking up another eve just to kill one person.. needs to just stick with TK.
I find it funny, that someone accuses me or one of my friends for having a lag switch. Why use such a thing, neither I or my friends would get personal enjoyment out of it. Maybe for laughs in private, but we are respectable in real matches.....to a certain degree. I find that anyone trolling me via hatemail is deserving of a Tbag. The hatemail was from a player who didn't like me talking. I was in a lobby and waiting patiently for more players with 2 of my friends, I got bored and decided to surf the leaderboard, pointing out obvious alts and funny names. I guess the guy thought that was sad and pathetic. I found it rather funny as his hatemail was ironically pathetic.
Ahh i remember my first hate mail. You get a lot when you're good at Headshots. One time someone sent me a voice message saying why do i MOD for. Lol people do anything when they're angry.
More hatemail and more tbagging, I'm not cocky but I know I have skill and lower levels and obvious alts seem to hate that. I apologize as I tried to make it as not cocky as possible.
I don't seem to mind suiciders anymore, rarely due they work on me but this one guy suicided and for some reason I felt really annoyed and then he did it again although there's more of this person's trolling beforehand (not just suicide) so as I said it was deserving of a Tbagg.
P.S. The fact that this person had no lag wasn't making me any happier of course it may have just been my connection but from what had happened it was highly unlikely.
^^ if you're referring to this evening (halloween night), I was there, so I will attest that lag was not the issue ( at least not for either of us, others... who can say...)

Now I know I've written on the forums that generally I'm cool with people playing in their own way and I'm quite tolerant to people pulling cheap stuff... But I ran into a room yesterday of Sotf, and literally half of the room were running the same damn set up. Lots of grenades, some of them homing, and they were Rezzing left right and centre, and after a while that ☺☺☺☺ gets long!!!

Always adjust to the game. TK and playing safe works well against multiple GL users. You can also exploit the fact that spammy GL's tend to be vulnerable on the reload. ;]
Isolate your kills, or better yet clean up kill, works well in SOFT.
Whenever people are spamming i switch to my AK Downfall loadout. Houdini an TK works like a charm.

I absolutely HATE this games tendency to randomize unfair teams. One-sided randomized games are horrid. It makes me facepalm every time I'm in the good team beating up randoms. It also doesn't help that everyone else on my team go all out..
This is a common theme with Bioshock i don't know what they did to the matchmaking system but it is terrible putting my non partied rebirths onto the same team against bronzes is absolutely ridiculous.

My vent for the week:
Finally after months of not seeing a Metro Map I get into a match, in the middle of the match just about, but no matter.
My eyes fill with sparkles as I load in and pick a Loadout and get Mrs. Johnson a running equipped with Houdini and her trusty pistol. I dodged a few shots and managed to "take down" someone trying to ele/cross one of my teamates, who is bronze..... and level one.
I camp the body far behind it and out of res fire range, get my pistol ready.... and they suicide. *Rage Face*
No big deal its only one time.
Many times later I'm thinking that this is just a doosh thing to do, yes doosh. I know i'm level 50 and really at this point don't care what others do as long as I can still play and can sweep up most of my res kills, but let the little moths spread their wings, go ahead and use your electrobolt as much as you want but aim for the body. Let them have a chance to retaliate and go "Wow this is fun. I want to keep playing this. I'll get better eventually." And yea if your taking Lol fire feel free to retaliate.
So many new players get chased away by suiciding and just unkindness. I know kindness only warms hearts and cruelty gets you farther, but does it really matter at this point and suiciding, really, you still get a death either way, give the other team a point. I admit i can get real soppy with a grenade launcher but most of mine are on accident and i never use res, though I have gotten a little too close with a grenade launcher shot or too and end up taking eaither both my target or myself out and I facepalm during those moments.
Lets try to keep the player base stable, it will never grow to its release days but we can atleast keep the matches flowing with new blood.
