Does this Firaxis CHEATING ever end???

What in the HELL is Firaxis doing?? Is this their way of compensating for a weak AI?? I just had TWO completely healthy Cavalry Units get killed by ONE shot from barely alive Canon's fire from two separate units. Each unit took ONE shot at each of my completely healthy Cavalry units and Each time it KILLED both of them... Unf'ing believable!!!!

By far this is the WORST version of Civilization yet. From Moves that tell you it takes ONE movement, but then DOES NOT!! To crap like this with units unbelievably taking out other units when it's so easy t see that they shouldn't even be able to make a small dent!!! There is sooooooooo many discrepancies in this new version that it is sending me over the edge... obviously from my expletives and high energy statements here....

Actually I think a bit more randomness so the biggest army did not necessarily win would be good for the game. As it stands the country that focuses solely on combat arms wins. Adding a bit more randomness beyond just the weather where one could never be assured of victory even with overwhelming odds might add some balance to the game.
