I went to the setting and changed Civworld so it couldn't post on my wall etc. I also told it to not publish anything when I removed the post that was there.
It still is.

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you clarify?
I don't know what else to say, I've told Civworld it can't post on my wall etc, but it still is. The option to stop it doing so is not working properly!
Look at the top right of the facebook page when you're playing.
I have set the same settings. I think only you can see the games you play in the games newsfeed, not your friends. The option the both of use is "Only me", so that would make sense, right?
Or have you actually asked any friend whether he can see "xyz (you in that case) is playing CivWorld"?

I don't think the option was "only me", it was more like "stop posting here" I seem to remember. Maybe i have to set it on every pc, although I would've thought it was more about the game and facebook than the pc. I also unticked everything I could in the game options, like "post to wall". I have no idea whether others can see it, but it's there 3 times in a row now with all my friends games they're playing, so I doubt there's a need for it to tell me I'm playing 3 times in a row??
Either way, just putting it out there as a bug. Doesn't bother me much.
Oh I see, I'd removed the one that said it could post to my wall etc and I'd told it not to put anything on my games tab on the top right which others can see. Seems you have to do 3 things to stop it. Why can't there just be one, maybe tomorrow I'll find out there's a fourth!
The "App privacy" setting with "Only me" actually IS for the newly introduced games sidebar on the right. It also shows "[my name] is playing CivWorld" etc. But I am quite sure that only I can see that, nobody of my friends. That makes sense, because "Only me" includes me, right?
and lol, why does your facebook say "unfriends" not "friends"???
It's a Greasemonkey script for Firefox. It shows me whenever somebody unfriended me or deactivated his/her account.
That happens often enough to need a script lol?
Actually not that often, no, but when you notice "uh, I have 1 friend less than I had yesterday", you might want to know what happened. Also it allows me to cancel friend requests which I sent accidentally (can you do that without that script?).
