Have you faced this MAJOR ANNOYING problem in bioshock?

so basically i have been playing bioshock...or at least i was until i quit playing because of this issue. Basically everytime i save in bioshock and quit the game it doesnt save. for instance just last week i saved the game from when i exited the medical pavilion and i guess got to "level 2" and a couple of days ago i turned on bioshock and it had me all the way back to the middle of the medical pavilion level. the game has been doing this to me quite frequently and i dont know how to fix it. i know my memory's not full for my xbox or for the game. so what else could it be?

About the only thing you can do for the 360 version is to try to clear the cache. See: This Post for instructions.
