    Hopefully not! ;-)

In all seriousness, this is something that's been reported to the team and it's on their radar.

Sorry to sound stupid but what do you mean 'vulnerable to modding'?

Borderlands was easy to mod. An example was people creating invincible shields and one shot kill weapons.

Oh, in multiplayer? I get it. Thought you meant SP mods.

The mods created for Borderlands one spanned across all platforms (Xbox, Playstation and PC) and affected both single and multiplayer. I know because I met quite a few of the modders (or hackers), (with the 1000's of invincible weapons, shields and combined weapons that were ridiculous). It kind of upset me because it really killed the joy of finding that "rare" weapon or shield in the game and building up your character. Because the single/co-op and multiplayer were all tied in, those mods were used throughout the whole game.

that is lame. I like modding rts. Makes a new game out of it. You can add graphics, and even change the units to represent games that may never be made!

Some kinds of modding are good (e.g., adding in new quests, new locations, and so on).

The kinds of modding that went on in Borderlands 1, though? Were not those kinds of modding.

from what i heard there will be either an in-game m dding system to were if you have a gun with no scope but you want one on it you will be able to or that there is a willow tree already made or in the process of being made i guess to find out the truth we will all have to wait i myself would like an in-game modding system since that would make guns i have look a bit different then if i didn't custumize it btw this is all just a rumor and don't bother asking me to back it up cause i can't

No matter what you do, modding will always be a factor. I dont see it as a "Vulnerability" based on that it doesnt affect your gameplay unless you challenge the player to a battle. Unless they have the mod that instantly kills everyplayer, which ive ran into alot, then it isn't a argueable case.

I have to disagree with your hypothesis. A arguement against you is that you dont have to play online, you can via private match and mods would be of no factor in your gameplay. Case closed

I'd have to agree with what Renegade is saying here. It is horrible trying to find an enjoyable online gaming experience in the Borderlands world, but it's all based on your community. If you have friends you know and trust, set up a private game and enjoy it with them. It's unfortunate that this kind of thing has to be done, but that's how it is. It's the "randoms" or "pug groups" that make the game unpredictable and un-enjoyable.
