Available Games Issue

How come it seems like the only games available for me to join seem to have mainly 199 players already in them and the earliest date of 976 BC. No offense, but if I want to start a new game, I would like it to be at the start of the game.

Because you have a friend. The developers punish you for having friends by only offering you games that your friends are already in. If you want to play this game, you have to create a new Facebook account with no friends at all, so that you can see starting games.

Or, just keep quitting the game you're assigned to, and you'll be put into a new one eventually (new being something within 200 years of 4000BC)
