    Crossbow hit detection

Ive been wondering for a long time now what has the most hit detection for the equips of the crossbow. I heard Pierceing bolt was the best. But when i went back to haveing nothing on it seemed like my shots counted more. And people say damage increase has the most but im pretty sure thats only because you can no stun with it.

From a purely software engineer point of view, I'd say its probably all in your head only, i.e. I doubt they would have programmed different hit detection routines for each upgrade, just doesn't make any sense...

What makes sense is that different guns / projectiles have different hit detection, but the arrow has the same shape and size for all 4 cases (3 upgrades and the vanilla).

Definitely just believing it has a different hit detection. Now if it's the case of Elephant Gun to Crossbow, there's a -huge- difference.

I never recognized any differences for crossbow, but in my case, im 100 percent sure on the ele gun there are definetely problems with the hit detection if i take no upgrade or 4 ammo...Didnt take damage increase often but the scope works all fine, thats why i use the scope upgrade, even if i rarely use the scope at all.

    I have to agree
a nek shot counts as a head shot with damage but as a neck shot with cb vannila or peircing
I those do alot of damage with eb like 95% but you only get the 100% with vanilla/piercing when you truly hit the center of the head even a ear shot dosent kill I can see them walking with my bolt is there head -_-
