Production bugs
Problem with worker / forest/ lumbermill production:
Background:
Game 2306
Name: Mike G
I have a 9x9 square of forest, with other forest and water tiles surrounding it. I have placed a lumber mill in the center of said square.
A simplified illustration as follows:
FFF
FLF
FFF
F=Forest
L=Lumber mill
I have placed houses on the vertical and horizontal as such:
FHF
HLH
FHF
H=house
Due to a problem with the AI (first, less severe bug,) not all of the workers were working the squares closest to them(the diagonals). 3 houses had 3 sides of water/forest, and one only had 2. The production when done building these was 17,17,16, and 14. I placed another worker to work the diagonal that was (as previously stated) not being worked:
FHF
HLHH
FHF
This brought the original four to 17, 17, 17, and 16. And the straggler to the east in my illustration to 14.
Here's the BIG bug:
Now, whenever I move that house on the east away, the other three houses go to 12,12,11,11. Right after this first occurred, one of the text boxes from one of the workers had gobbledy☺☺☺☺ (random characters) instead of "this road increases my productivity," etc. I have tried to rebuild the associations by moving and changing the house type, then placing them again in the same way I did when I first did it, but to no avail. Also, now instead of being 14, the straggler is now 11.
Due to the random characters in the text box, I'm betting that some data has been corrupted.
I'm tempted to recycle and rebuild the lumber mill, however it is early in the civ and I don't have that kind of production to throw away.

Just a couple more things:
I'd be happy to provide more information/screenshots in private correspondence.
It does not matter what type of house the straggler is made into, if it is made to something other than a worker, it just affects the happiness of the worker house it is directly next to. I still see the same production difference (17-12) in the other houses when it is moved.
I deleted all of the houses and rebuilt them by selecting move and going back into the build menu. Strangely enough, this fixed the AI bug, and all four of the workers on the horizontal and vertical are now working all four of the the diagonal squares.

Ha. While the first, small bug is a real concern (not working the tiles closest to them), the second one was user error. Everyone feel free to point and laugh... the house was completing a road.
