new bug on Lost City of Atlantis

I won the action for Lost City of Atlantis which should have given me an advanced technology but it gave it to a different nation

This is probably a result of the big civ bug. By chance you were a member of one civ at a previous time in the game and it still thinks you are part of that civ.

I had a similar thing happen to me. My civ got the research, but I did not get the credit for it. The person who was researching the tech got credit (science adviser, promotion, great person).

yeah, this seems to not work very well overall, and needs to be looked at.

i buy lost city of atlantis, and the technology is discovered.
the player that was researching it gets credit, promotion, medals, etc.
i get demoted, and ~400 maze moves which are lost after completing a maze...
money well spent, eh?

If you can, it's best to get everyone out of the research pool before completing the Atlantis auction. Park your science in an already discovered tech. That way, you don't waste science on discovering something you nearly had.

Of course, this requires people in your civ to listen and communicate. And while I'm at it, I'll have a pony.
