OK well it is a big no no
Each time I win the era victory with Science or Wonders, the victory is given to another nation.

I am just awarded with a fame point and a nice medal, but the fame of the other nation just leaped forward now with 2 era victory I have been very nice to give them, they have now 200 fame points where every one is still around 50.

Now the competition is totally wasted, how to recover from this ? how to win a game where they were awarded the points unfairly ? Pissing me off or not, it is a very serious bug because it is completely stupid to play a game where we cannot win and worse you give your points at the end of your efforts. cool no ?

Oh well the only benefits I have received from this is I lost 7 place in the ranking and the game wedd me with another male player ><

You need to work on this one because people start to leave now, DIGUSTED

This has already been noted in the CivWorld Technical Issues Board. At the current time, don't try to win tech or wonder victories. Research non-era winning techs and try to steal wonders through war instead. (My civ in my game 981 has the same issues, and we've found that what we can still do are economic victories and domination victories.)

Man I wish I realized this was an issue. I just spent a ton of science to win a science era victory, but it was given to another Civ. So I went back and looked at the news/sciences my Civ has gotten, and yep, the game keeps rewarding victories we should be getting to an opposing Civ.

well thank you 'Subversive for your answer and your time, I wasn't aware of the Technical Issues Board... but the problem is still on, there is no warnings in game and the vast majority of players is still pushing for wonder and science.

Now I think it is better to reinit the game because it is a total mess, the era victory and the fame are all fake and I don't see how it can be recovered. No use to continue in this room so I've begin in a new one

Yeah, it is pretty rough. We should be crushing the competition, but instead we kept giving era wins to much smaller Civs.

It happens, it's happened to us a lot but we no longer care. Figure that the admins can't fix it in a game already going and we'll just consider ourselves the winners at the end of the game.
