Have the Big Daddy figure coffins shipped?

I filled out the form at www.2kgames.com/bioshock/busted as soon as it was made available. I have not yet received my coffin to return my broken figure.

I just wanted to know if they have shipped yet (and my order didn't go through) or if they just haven't been sent out.

    Thanks for your help.

I'd like to know too. I entered my info the same day the form was made available.

Even using ground shipping I'd have thought it have shown up by now...

    Question No box here

I am waiting on my box as well, I had a thread going about this not too long ago and a few people said they had called in to check on it and they should be shipping soon. If anyone receives the box for replacement please let us know!

I have not recieved it either. Just adding my name to the list of people...who have not recieved it.

Wondering if they are going to wait until the replacment Big Daddies are ready till they ship the boxes.

    Unhappy I'm waiting too :(

I discovered mine was broken last week, still in the package. I registered mine online and am waiting for my coffin as well.

    Thanks Elizabeth!

Also, I've never received confirmation that my request was received... I don't know if we were supposed to or not.

Same here, signed up day one still waiting to see something to ship my figurine back... I understand these things take time, but it would have been nice to at least get an email or other indication of some sort that your request was received.

Great game btw, thoroughly enjoyed it my first time through, gearing up for a second round soon!

    Unhappy

I never got confirmation or a Big Daddy box in the mail either, and I used the return page the first day available.

OK, so here I am, two weeks later and still nothing...

No box, no conformation that my request was even received... nothing.

This sucks and I'm almost to the point of not buying any more 2K products, ever.

All I have to say, no more 2K games I am done with it. I knew BioShock is going be disappoint, man the same developer who makes SWAT need to learn more unique gaming

It's been over a month and I have yet to get anything indicating they're going to follow up on their promise to replace these figurines. I'm getting pretty impatient and very unhappy.

the big daddy figurines are being made. we have finalized the spreadsheet and i'm gathering information from customers that did not give me all their info. shipping should commence soon -- we had to build them all!

How will we know if we are signed up? I would really hate it if my sign in never went through.

    Unhappy I'm disappointed in us

    Thanks for the update.

I'm sure it's mildly frustrating when we keep asking where the "coffins" are and some people being over dramatic saying they'll never buy another 2k game. That seems pretty immature to me. 2k is going out of their way to fix a problem that most companies couldn't care less about and we're flipping out because we haven't gotten boxes yet. Kind of pathetic.

Just for curiosity sake Elizabeth, how many people signed up for a replacement Big Daddy?

  31. #31

    Talking Thanks for the update!

Yeah I'm also in the no coffin boat. I was just getting worried that I got missed or something and BAM! Elizabeth updates us on what is happening. Awesome, Thanks!

My worry, since confirmation was not sent when the form was filled out, is this: What if I filled out the form (which I did) and the data did not go through? Will there be any recourse, given that the deadline for submitting information has passed?

That's exactly what I'm worried about, too. Filling out the form should have immediately sent a confirmation e-mail with an individual case number.

As it stands now, I have no idea whether or not I'm going be able to replace my broken Big Daddy.

O please shut your trap. People like you always make false claims but you damn well KNOW if bioshock 2 came out youd be all over it. Give them time and stop being so stubborn. And even if you like to be stubborn don't make such retarded claims. This whole ordeal shouldnt decide whether a customer purchases a product from a great company or not.

    Cheers.

This isn't directed at you Elizabeth, but in general I think the issue is not really the amount of time that it is taking to manufacture the replacements, nor the fact that the box has not arrived. I think the biggest problem with the whole process is NOBODY is completely positive they will actually get it. Why? The biggest factor in my opinion was the fact that a simple automated "Confirmation Email" was not even sent to those who completed the claim form.

Instead of having the generic autoreply email, or heaven forbid assigning a customer number, you are left with an unsure feeling about whether your claim really was received at all. Sure, we all know very few things get lost in electronic mail, but that confirmation would have helped a lot of people to feel better about getting their replacement Big Daddy, even if MUCH later than anticipated.

Surely if you have talented people who can write code for a site and forum, let alone a game, there is someone who could have scripted that and prevented a classy gesture to take care of your customers from slowly turning into more bad press?

agreed indeed -- i'll see what i can do about getting the list of email addresses and sending something out for you guys.

i can't give you a date for the figurines until we are sure there won't be any delays. i hate having to push back a date i give you.

as for confirming that we got your info, i think i can arrange that!

    Any hope for Australian customers?

    Hi Elizabeth,

Is there any news regarding Big Daddy replacements in Australia? On the support site it says that replacements to the UK region have been sent, but I don't know if us Aussies are included in that? I have asked my retailer and they haven't heard any news at all.
I signed up (twice) soon after release for the US / Canadian replacement program just in case I missed out. I have also sent photos to my retailer which they were going to forward on to 2K as at least 30% (when I last checked) of their CE customers are in the same boat as me.

It would be great if 2K could support the Australian market especially as half the BioShock dev team are from here!

    Cheers,
    schlub
