Keyboard not working

Simply can't move rite from the start, can't swim, can only look around. I have tried to reconfigure the keys but it doesn't recognize any keys at all, except Esc,Tab,Enter,Shift etc.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
GeForce 7600GT
updated Display card driver
Directx 9.0c

That is odd.. do you have any kind of ''special'' keyboard or a generic one?

What make and model of keyboard are you using?
Do you have any special drivers for this device?

Just a normal keyboard w/ no special functions or software...

thats weird... do you have a program installed that catches keystrokes? Such as disability access programs, custom shortcut programs etc? If you do uninstall them if you can.

Some programs dont support these programs and the commands arent passed through the added layer and then passed on through to the o/s layer.

Disable or uninstall and keyboard drivers or software as well if you have it them.

o and keyloggers may work the same, run a spyware scanner to make sure you dont have one.

Can you please try closing some of your background apps, they may be conflicting with the game.

Click on Start>Run>msconfig from the startup tab you will be able to see all none essential programs that are currently running

sorry for tripple post, but dont uninstall the base keyboard drivers. that probably wont make a difference, they will jsut re-install automaticly anyways. Just any special software that may have come with the keyboard to offer support for any special functions. I wish there was an edit button!

I've checked and deleted spywares I can find and I hvn't install any software related to keyboard....but still all the same.....

Do I need to download new patch? (is there any new patch btw?)

ok I have just found a very wierd thing

If I'm pressing the Ctrl key (e.g. Crtl + w), then the game can recognize all the letter keys, except spacebar !

So what's wrong w/ my game setting !?!?
