Tile game - how does someone solve a puzzle so fast?
A new picture just appeared in the tile game, and I watched as someone solved the whole puzzle in less than 15 seconds. Even if I could figure out the puzzle that quickly, there is no way I could actually get that many pieces to move in 15 seconds because my clicks don't register anywhere near that fast. Was this internal staff or something, because it sure doesn't seem right.
I'm on a broadband connection, wireless-n with internet explorer. Google chrome is a little faster, but still nowhere near that speed.

Maybe some world event, like auction?

Was it just one person? Sometimes there are a bunch. Otherwise, maybe you have lag.
-
There was only one other person looking at the puzzle besides me. Considering how quickly it was solved, and that the user made no errors, I'm assuming that it was either internal staff or some sort of bonus. And yes, I have a lot of lag with this game compared to other FB apps--but from what others in my civ say, that doesn't seem very unusual. I figure they're still scaling the servers.

You can't see independents when they are completing a puzzle. Maybe that and some lag did the trick.
-
Yep, independent people are invisible but they can see civs, if I recall correctly.
-
Yes, they can see members of civs doing the puzzle. Same thing you see if you are in a civ watching or doing it.
Edit: That's changed now, independents can not see players in civs either.

Sometimes when you switch to the puzzle or the market a bunch of moves will happen really quickly - I think this is just things that have happened recently that are just then registering for you.
-
This sounds like either lag or a bot. Hopefully lag. :P

I'm a bit concerned that it was accomplished without making a single mistake.

Just happened again, watched a puzzle close, and then the next 2 1/2 puzzles were solved less than a minute--first one with no mistakes. Barely got the mouse over a single piece before the it was solved. I'm not on an underpowered PC and I have a cable internet connection, other games and services work just fine, so it seems like it must be server-side. If this is a lag effect, they must be playing across the street from the servers Ultimately though, I think the puzzle game is easily the most frustrating of the three.
