[RFE] Improve the messages when returning to the game

When we return to a Civ World game after being away for even just a few hours, a very large number of messages greet us. Here's a typical set of messages I got:

    • "A new Era has begun"
    • "A new Era has begun"
    • "A new Era has begun"
    • "A new Era has begun"
    • "A new Era has begun"
    • "Your nation has entered a battle."
    • "A new Era has begun"
    • "A new Era has begun"
    • "Your nation has entered a battle."
    • "A new Era has begun"

    It's really not very useful.

Firstly, the messages are too generic. The messages above should specify details like the name of the Era, or which nation we went to battle with.

But most importantly expired messages should be replaced with an up-to-date message. For example, there should have been just one 'Era' message which tells me what Era we are now one — I don't care about the ones that have been and gone. And I don't care about whether we entered a battle; rather I care about whether we are currently in a battle or have won or have lost a battle. A better message system might only show me two or three really important things, instead of a dozen things that are no longer relevant.

Thanks, gütch. I was up to report the same.

This were my notes on the bug (or feature request):

For the Game messages "A new Era has begun", "A proposal has been made" & "Your nation has entered a battle" it would be useful (and even necessary) to add some additional information (Examples: "A new Era has begun - Modern Era", "A proposal has been made - Freedom of Speech" or "Your nation has entered a battle - Roman Empire vs. African League" ).

Maybe even adding the date of those events.

Also, every time a game has finished I have seen messages like this:
    • "Game 152 is no longer viewable as an old game."
    • "Game 152 is no longer viewable as an old game."
    • "Game 152 is over and will be viewable for an unspecified amount of time."

That 'will be viewable for an unspecified amount of time' is pretty useless... why is the amount of time unspecified? And why show that message when (as the other messages show) the game has already expired and can't be viewed?

Yes, I agree that a date would be useful — at the moment I can't tell what order things happened in.

In this part of the 'Since you were away'

    Welcome back!
    [name_of_player]

    The date is [date].
You are [ranking] of the [civilization].
I also thought of adding some information to the line"You are [ranking] of the [civilization].", containing something about your charge on the civilization (president, culture minister, defense minister...).
