Can they just start a different thread for all the ps3 awards. I think recently with all of their tournaments and everything there is much more action on the ps3 side than ever in the last year. I see lots of stuff happening for them in the future and a combined page would become too saturated. Scottie, Yeah - that looks like a better order, I'll have a play about when I got time. The H2H world championships will be dropped from the main body soon and just counted in the previous list.
I'll also do something with the PS3 stuff when I get a minute.
Hey I like scotties idea too put more spotlight on the big tourneys......maybe move the civ league above the kings too??
Oh and you might find this ironic but I would like to see mawpawks name next to 2012 world championship at the top of that page until the next bracket starts or champ is crowned.....that was a 6 month long tourney he triumphed over

From reading japyanees thread he is the current bounty king unless raven comes back and beats him......Also, he nominated packrat to be the bounty king on our side.....but I dont thin packrat ever read that because its in a ps3 king thread.
I may be the author, but it's definitely a 'community' thread, so all suggestions welcome and taken on board.
I read it as 2-0 in a best of 5 at the moment - I take issue with actually claiming title-ship without actually playing a game, fair enough, Japyaknees came up with it, but then he gets first crack at it.
Re xbox bounty, I though that was better a decision taken by Digital (or anyone) if they want to play it? A seperate thread would be better though?
I also spotted another new king title on xbox - Whats the general consensus on adding new ones? I fear they may become too watered down and meaningless but at the same time, don't want too put people off new ideas.
I agree with you, it turned out not being so great. I originally wanted it to be only Spain with regular rules but I thought it would be boring. Personally I don't think individual civs should have their own king titles. I mean I guess we could have a title for every civ but I think that kind of takes the meaning out of it, I thought the titles were supposed to show you were good with a wide variety of civs not just one specifically. IDK maybe I missed something...
I agree with both of ya'll....I think new king titles should be voted on in this thread before they become a true King title. Every xbox king title is a group of civs itz except for the Zulu one and that one is fitting being king of the hated. It was also voted on by about 5 forum members who were in the party the night it was created. I was curious why the ps3 guys kept doing singles like spanish or japanese king insteaad of the groups like we do or just a mirror king title or somethin like that. Im not on ps3 though so I just stayed out of that one.
Finally I 100% agree with having to play for the title instead of just naming yourself the rightful king. Im pretty sure I voiced this when duke tried starting the king of kings title.
Ok in that case I will play someone to be king of the Seas, aka the Spanish with regular rules. I think I can fair pretty well and I feel they deserve a spot just as much as the Zulu... America and Chinese can just as easily be king of the Hated as well so I guess its a matter of opinion, I think I know why the Zulu were chosen...

King of the Seas is fitting for the Spanish right? I like the Spanish a lot so I want them to have a king title. Isn't that how the king of the Zulu got started? I know Multi likes them a lot as well and felt they get hated on a lot, as they do. But I hear the same complaints about Chinese and American players when I'm in the lobby and we all know the Chinese and Americans are better than the Zulu so I don't see why they should get their own king title. I mean people could keep finding new reasons to make king titles, like King of the Overpowered (America) or King of the Worst(Mongols). Eventually we will have king titles for every civ.
I think the best plot for king of the seas would be spanish and japan......greek isnt king of the seas till the final era
I agree but you're missing the point, individual civs shouldn't have there own king title. It just starts a chain reaction and eventually we will have a title for every civ which will make the king titles meaningless... I think king of the Hated is exactly the same as king of the top teir. You can't tell me when you see Zulu, Chinese, or Americans and you are a weak civ you're not thinking "god damnit" with all of them...

The king of the hated title is more of a joke/pun rather than a true king title in the spirit of the other ones. A good laugh at all the emotions involved when somebody picks the Zulu. And yes, the Zulu are by far the most hated because even a very bad player can ruin everything for you early and you cannot do anything about it.
A really bad China or America player is actually a blessing. You get to either conquer nice 3 and 4 pop cities or steal a settled builder, artist or scientist
Remo real talk once again... Zulu is a joke title but it one of the few titles you can face for and it is done in a matter of 30 mins after 3 to 5 matches. Zulu truly is the most hated civ for the simple advantage of moving twice in ancient and no other civ could be as annoying. I do like the idea being King of the Weakest. Mongols I find so fun going against another one and liked it a lot in the civ league.

Ok just one more, Spain. They are my favorite civ and they are undoubtedly king of the seas. You can't see how this would work out? Liam really likes Japan, what if he wanted to make a king title for them? Why are other civs being discriminated against is my question I suppose? Is it only because they are not black? It's funny people make it such a big issue, which I guess it is some places like where Multi lives and down South. But where I grew up and the people I know it has never been an issue. So when I see people making a big deal about it on a forum that to the best of my knowledge isn't racist I have a problem when a certain civ is being elevated above others... So we have 3 votes to change the King of Randoms-no horses to the King of the Footsoldiers(no quadripeds: knights or horses) and any civ in the bottom 10 is legal.....its only a best of 3 because these games are inevitibly longer....so I guess if we get another vote we can make the change...
Just won this title off of mawpawk 2-1. We played it with the new rules as the King of the Footsoldiers so If anyone else can agree with us we will go ahead and change the name. Anyways, Im either king of random or king of the footsoldiers
I don't mind mind either way - Randoms certainly didn't seem too popular so no love lost there. Might as well give the new one a try.
I'll keep the record of the randoms though and just change the title in top post? I don't think glenn will be able to change the title of original post - so new thread, or just keep posting there, we all know what it will be anyway.
Well either way...when you update it I took that king title off mawpawk so its me now.
