What are the percentage numbers for the resource status widgets?

In the city screen the status widgets for 'food', 'production', 'science' down the left hand side all have percentage numbers like '+35%' or so. What do those numbers indicate?

That is the bonus being applied to each house working that resource. For instance, you have a house of 10 production. Then you get a 50% rate and it turns into a 15 production house.

And the bonus/malus comes from the current era, Great People you have and Wonders your Civ possesses.
