I just finished playing in Game 136(?).
Although i was #2 i feel i've been cheated...nay, robbed of a Civilisation game privilege...of battle gameplay!!

There wasn't a single domination era win in the entire game!?!
Can you imagine??? A Civ game with no war?!?!?! How sad...i only battled barbs!
...this is more like Civ Sim than any other Civilisation game i've played.

How about bringing back Draft?!
Oppossite to game 155 where was TOTAL WAR nonstop day and night . And seems if game 155 finish before game 136 ,the wars were bloody and the winner is .......i was sleeping and don,t know what happened -((( . ! But it was like that die Wermacht allyance of 5 people ,was attacking allyances of 3 pages with 500 riflemens in defence ,and was winning always ! So i wake up to see my cavalery upgradet into tanks ,but found out all was over . Salute and Respect to all 155 Rome,America,Russia,Grece and even Spain in the begining .But mostly to,,Germans,, Nathan,Matthew,Leonardo and the begginer Marko . This was my first game from begining and i felt great ! BLITZKRIEG ZUG ZWANG MAINE FREUNDE !

Ravi. I want screen shots. I can't believe you where in a game and there were no inter-civ battles at all!
Game 151, there is constant war between the Mongolian Horde and the Japanese Shogunate (who have 17 players more and better tech), but our Horde proudly stands its ground (while defeating the French, Brittish, Germans, Russians, Greeks...)
Its all war here, dude, so probably you played with simbuilders
Our game 142 had few battles and there was never a era victory I am aware of that was won via war. I think the voting system to go to war can really drag out the ability of large groups to fight each other. So as I have seen on many threads here small groups of players may have rapid game play but large groups it really gets slow and fewer fights. It took 3 days for everybody to vote to fight. Although we did have at least one massive fight, there were few others and it didn't lead to a era win.
Actually there was 1 Domination era win. The very first "battle vs. civ 20% size" (Or some such) before i joined the game.Originally Posted by angelar

There were battles, but it was between other civs. We had 1 battle (for which i was asleep being in AEST time zone). Apart from that no one was brave enough to attack us, cos we (myself included) were building/buying up a huge army. We also had no reason to attack.
So end game, we won without any epic battles...and i had a huge army waiting...so upset
