Losing the ability to click on houses?

I am playing in Chrome, and I have noticed that after playing for a while, I lose the ability to click on houses to change jobs. If I quit and come back in, I get it back. Someone else in my game mentioned having the same issue. Is there a fix?

Sometimes after couple of minutes and some times after 20-30 minutes playing I am also having this issue. Closing game and coming back shows only solutions for now.

I use Chrome as well and I was having this issue in the beginning of the game, while in the "tutorial." It's working fine now though...
