Yes she is from the comics. One of the best characters ever. Just go onto the Walking Dead wiki and find out. The tv series is trying to be different from the comics so it's okay if they spoil it for you.
I just caught up an Oh My God, that was incredible. Starting of with the beautifully shot battle scene and the collapse of the barn symbolizing the collapse of the safety of the farm. Then them all being split up and running away and managing to find themselves (mostly). Not to mention all the characters changing from the experience, rick flipping out, and Daryl revealing his loyalty.
I have to say for the end of a series it poses a hell of a lot of questions, who was in the helicopter, why did the zombies suddenly form a horde, who was the kick ass sword wielder. On top of all this I have to wait till autumn to find out.
There was always something about Shane I didn't like, and after watching the 3rd episode of season two I really don't like him now, what a dog move shooting that guy and leaving him as bait so he could get away.
He had a choice either he and Otis died and so did the kid because he couldn't get the medicine to him or he shot Otis and went on alone to save two lives. It wasn't an easy or pleasant decision but under the circumstances there was nothing else he could do.
But at the same time it was a selfish choice. Shane still thinks of Carl as his own son and wanted to ensure his life was saved, at the same time there were several other options instead of shooting Otis. One option being continue till they got to the car and head back. Both of them were limping anyway. Only difference is Shane wanted to ensure that he made it out alive.

I disagree, Shane is a survivalist which if the world was a normal place, his actions would be unacceptable. But in the hell hole the world has become his attitude is needed to keep others alive, admittedly sometimes he goes too far but he was balanced out by dale, who was too liberal. In the case with Randal that was Ricks mistake he should've put a bullet in his head when they found him on the fence. As for Shane's attachment to ricks family he does take it to the extreme but as he said he didn't think Rick could protect his family. Trying to kill Rick was unacceptable though.
So what's your excuse for what he tried to do in the CDC? I suppose that was was so people could survive as well?

My bad, I forgot that was in the CDC, yea their Shane crossed the line.
He crossed the line when he decided to take Ricks wide for himself and leaving Rick in the hospital. You think a cop doesn't know how to properly check a mans pulse with his fingers.
That too, everything he does is to benefit himself, and no one else.

When Shane left Rick in the hospital it was because not only was it overrun with walkers but it also had members of the CDC shooting people who where sick. Rick had been in a comma and still was, trying to carry him out would have slowed down shane so much that the CDC would have noticed and probably shot them both. You've got to remember that Shane did go back for Rick and went all the way through the hospitable and set up the bed to barricade the door and protect Shane.

Jesus christ, Shane just makes me hate him more and more each episode, he has a gift for getting on my bad side.
Shane seems to split people down the middle, some like me thinks he's a hardcore survivalist if a bit over the top, and other like most on this forum seem to think he's a massive douche.
I can understand being a survivalist, he just goes about it all the wrong way, there are ways to do things with coming across as a giant douche.

How good is the Walking Dead game? Also is it available for PS3.
I heard that it will be coming out on all three major platforms, but those are, as far as I know, rumors. It's not out yet, though. Just check the PSN store on Tuesday to see if it's there, the only platform that I'm certain it's releasing on is PC.
It is being released on PC, PSN, XBL Arcade, and iOS.
There will be 5 "episodes" each with their own release dates:
- Episode 1 – A New Day - 25th of April, 2012
- Episode 2 – Starved for Help - 30th of June, 2012
- Episode 3 – Long Road Ahead - 25th of August, 2012
- Episode 4 – Around Every Corner - 27th of October, 2012
- Episode 5 – No Time Left - 29th of December, 2012
So the episode where Shane finally got what was coming to him just aired, after watching Dale go down the episode before, it was kind of nice to see Shane go down as well.
