MP Suggestion: Ping Reporting and General Chat Lobby

I first want to thank you for continuing to support this game with updates.

Not sure if this is on a list of things to do but these 2 things would be EXTREMELY helpful in playing MP games.

General Chat Lobby - When you go look for internet games you only see a list of available games, there is no way to see how many ppl are in the system also looking for games. It would be very helpful to have a general lobby chat where everyone can see other users and talk to them prior to joining a game.

Ping Reports - Once you've joined a game there is very little way to see how responsive each person is. (IE Ping) Can you please add a ping report to each player so we can determine if the game is likely to perform well once we've loaded into it and started? Game performance is wildly unpredictable as someone with a fast computer and great internet connection looks the same as someone on a slow computer with a terrible connection. Even if these pings were inside the game alone that would help.

No else wants this? I'm shocked.

No-one commenting doesn't mean no-one wants it. I don't play MP, but I can see that these points would be good.

SamBC is right, there are quite a lot of people who want MP fixed, however Firaxis has decided to ignore most multiplayer issues because it isn't a "priority". It sucks but that is the way it is, the mp community is and has been grossly mistreated.

I like to think they might fix it once they have an MP coder... not sure why they're having such a hard time hiring...
